APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING WIRE PREVENTING Z-AXIS BENDING
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for processing wire which prevents the z-axis bending of the wire, and more particularly, to an apparatus for processing wire which is capable of further maximizing the effect of preventing the z-axis bending of the wire by minimizing wire exposure out of the apparatus.
ELECTROMECHANICAL SYSTEMS, METHODS, ORTHODONTIC BRACKETS, AND TOOLS FOR ADJUSTING ORTHODONTIC PRESCRIPTIONS OF ORTHODONTIC BRACKETS WITH ADJUSTABLE ARCHWIRE PASSAGES
Electromechanical systems, methods, orthodontic brackets, and tools for adjusting orthodontic prescriptions of orthodontic brackets with adjustable archwire passages are disclosed herein. The methods include operatively engaging an orthodontic bracket with an engagement structure of an electronic orthodontic adjustment tool, determining a present orientation of an archwire slot of the orthodontic bracket, displaying a displayed orientation of the archwire slot, and adjusting the orientation of the archwire slot based on the displayed orientation. The orthodontic brackets include a base, a body, a retention structure, a transmitter, and may include an orientation-determining structure. The tools include an engagement structure, an orientation indicator, and may include an orientation-determining structure.

MAXILLARY SKELETAL EXPANDER AND MAXILLARY SKELETAL EXPANDING SYSTEM
Disclosed is a maxillary skeletal expander including: a first body coupled to a maxilla; a second body opposing the first body and coupled to the maxilla; a gap adjusting member with a first and second threaded portion provided on both sides of a main body part and respectively screwed to the first body and the second body; and an anti-rotation plate having an anti-rotation member having an elastic protrusion that protrudes toward the main body and fits into an anti-rotation recess provided along an edge of one side of the main body, so that unintentional rotation of the gap adjusting member is prevented.
Dalman orthodontic bracket
An orthodontic bracket assembly treatment system comprising a bracket base and at least two rigid selectable bracket covers slidably engageable with the bracket base wherein the selectable at least two rigid selectable bracket covers are removably slidably couplable to said bracket base by slidably engaging the upper lip with the upper retention element and the lower lip with the lower retention element and wherein the width of the face of a first one of the at least two rigid selectable bracket covers is wider than the width of the face of a second one of the at least two rigid bracket covers and can be selectively releasably attached to the base during a treatment such that the treatment utilizes either the first bracket cover or the second bracket cover depending on a patient's treatment needs at a stage of the treatment.

Orthodontic appliance for expansion of dentition
An orthodontic appliance is disclosed that integrates an arch expander with a first segment and a second segment. The first and second segments are disposed on opposite sides of a midline of a dentition of an orthodontic patient. Both the first segment and the second segment are disposed over multiple teeth on the respective side of the midline, with a gap existing proceeding along the dentition between anterior-most portions of the first segment and the second segment. The arch expander is integrated with the first and second segments to exert an anteriorly-disposed expansion force on the patient's dentition through the first and second segments, for instance where the posterior-most location where these expansion forces are exerted corresponds with a first bicuspid on each side of a permanent the dentition.
Method for Automatic Creation of 3D Models for Dental and Orthodontic Use
A system and method that is a web based application for creating and managing 3D models used in orthodontic laboratory prescriptions within a dental clinic or lab. The method includes automatically detecting and removing any appliances contained within the 3D image file. After the appliances have been removed, the system then automatically replaces the removed image data with new mage data that is calculated to approximate the surface of the tooth disposed beneath the deleted appliance in order to create a clean, second 3D image. The method may further automatically refine the second 3D image of the patients teeth or delete any artifacts which remain after creation of the second 3D image. The second 3D image may then be used as the basis on which to change the patients orthodontic or dental prescription.

REDUCED REGISTRATION BONDING TEMPLATE
A dental template for positioning an object on teeth of a patient and method for fabricating the same. The method includes creating a digital model of the patient's teeth, creating a simplified template model based on the digital model, and fabricating the dental template based on the simplified template model. The template model is simplified by removing certain features of the patient's tooth anatomy. The dental template can be located on a patient's teeth using four or fewer positioning teeth.
