Systems, Devices, and/or Methods for Animal Proof Garbage Can Locks
Certain exemplary embodiments can provide a system that comprises locking device. The locking device comprises a strap, a two piece buckle, and a pair of fasteners. The strap comprises a first segment and a second segment. Each of the first segment and the second segment comprises a first end and a second end. The first end of each of the first segment and the second segment defines an aperture. The locking device is constructed to couple a lid of a garbage can to a body of the garbage can.
LOCKING DEVICE AND METHOD
The present invention generally relates to waste containers and, more particularly, relates to a locking device for waste containers. The locking device is gravity actuated to an opened position on tilting of the container for dumping. The locking device allows the lid of the container, when the container is in an upright position, to be locked to prevent unauthorized access to the container. When the container is tilted from the upright position, e.g. to empty the contents of the container, the locking device is gravity actuated to allow the lid to open.
Waste disposal system and waste receiver for receiving and disposing of pharmaceutical waste material
A waste disposal system with a waste receiver for receiving pharmaceutical waste material. A locking assembly is secured to a fixed surface and actuated from a locked configuration to an unlocked configuration. A lock cylinder of the locking assembly may extend forward of a front wall of a receiver body of the waste receiver to engage a locking feature of the cover in the locked configuration. A cover retention feature may prevent axial decoupling of the cover from the receiver body. An engagement feature is moved to be disengaged from the receiver body, and the receiver body is moved away from the fixed surface to disengage the locking assembly from the cover. The cover is decoupled from the cover retention feature, and coupled with the receiver body to seal the pharmaceutical waste material. The locking assembly may be removed from a lock passageway for disposal of the waste receiver.
Document console
A document console comprising an upper member secured to a housing. The housing comprises side walls that are removably attached from one another thereby facilitating the manufacture, storage, and assembly of the console. The console comprises features and members that confer anti-static properties onto the console, thereby facilitating the removal of paper-based documents from the console. The console further comprises safety features that serve to maintain the security and the integrity of the documents within the console.
TRASH COMPACTOR
A trash compactor may include a frame, a cavity, a trash receptacle, a platen movable to compress trash collected in the trash receptacle, a set of linkages and a drive mechanism configured to drive said platen up and down, the drive mechanism further configured as one of the link elements, and a platen guide mechanism configured to restrict the motion of the platen in an up and down manner.
Swinging Door Garbage Can Apparatus
A swinging door garbage can apparatus for easy garbage bag removal includes a base comprising a vertical base wall. A can body has a can door is coupled to the can body. The can door has a hinge coupled to the can sidewall. The can door swiningly moves from a closed position extending and an alternate open position exposing a can inside. A shelf is coupled to a door inner face of the can door. A panel track is coupled to the door inner face. A locking panel is coupled to the door inner face and slidably engages within the panel track. The locking panel has a plurality of locking pins. The plurality of locking pins is selectively engageable with a plurality of pin receptacles coupled to the can body to secure the can door in the closed position.
Waste chute devices and methods for using the same
Waste chute devices and methods for using the same are provided. In some embodiments, a method for operating waste chutes comprises: receiving, using a hardware processor of a waste chute device, an identity associated with a user of the waste chute device; in response to receiving the identity associated with the user, allowing, using the hardware processor, a door of the waste chute device to be opened; determining, using the hardware processor, a number of items and at least one type associated with the items that have been placed in an opening of the waste chute device; determining, using the hardware processor, that the door of the waste chute device has been closed; updating, using the hardware processor, information associated with the user based on the number of items and the at least one type of items that have been placed in the opening of the waste chute device; and providing, using the hardware processor, the user with the updated information.
DYNAMICALLY ADJUSTABLE SENSORS FOR TRASH COMPACTORS AND RECEPTACLES
Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for dynamically adjusting sensors for use in compactors and receptacles. A receptacle first sends a signal from a transmitter on a first module in a receptacle to a receiver on a second module in the receptacle, wherein the first module is located on a first inner wall of the receptacle and the second module is located on a second inner wall of the receptacle, and wherein at least part of the first module and the second module is located a distance above a bin inside the receptacle. Next, the receptacle determines a signal-detection characteristic including a signal detection status or a number of signal pulses associated with a signal detection. Based on the signal-detection characteristic, the receptacle determines an operating condition of the receptacle, the operating condition including a fullness level or an obstruction level associated with the first or second sensors.
Automated waste collection system
An automated waste collection has a housing, within which is disposed a deployment mechanism for receiving a waste bin. The waste bin may be placed onto the deployment mechanism through an access opening traversing through the housing and selectively obstructed by an access closure. Waste may be deposited within the waste bin through a lid opening at a top of the housing. The deployment mechanism may be displaced by a deployment actuator between a stored position within the housing and a deployed position external to the housing. In order to do so, the deployment mechanism traverses through a deployment opening selectively obstructed by a deployment closure. A controller operates according to a predetermined waste collection schedule, actuating the deployment actuator at any scheduled waste collection times.
Artificial Intelligent Trash Container with Sanitary and Health Control Arrangement
A trash container includes a container unit and a sanitary and health control arrangement. The container unit includes a container having a top opening and a container cavity, and a container cover being moved between an opened position and a closed position. The sanitary and health control arrangement includes a monitoring module coupled at the container unit for collecting different trash information thereof, and a sanitary module operatively linked to the monitoring module for maintaining the container unit in a sanitary manner in response to the trash information.
