APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR A TRANSALVEOLAR DENTAL IMPLANT
The present disclosure relates to single tooth or full arch dental restoration. In cases where patients have insufficient bone stock for conventional root-form dental implants, current solutions often fail to restore function. The present disclosure describes a transalveolar dental implant for single tooth or full arch dental restoration. The transalveolar dental implant is comprised of a post and a bone plate, the bone plate having a contoured portion fabricated to match the topography of a bony surface of the facial skeleton. Through primary fixation of the contoured portion of the bone plate, the transalveolar dental implant improves function and outcomes in affected patients.
DENTAL ALIGNMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DENTAL IMPLANT PLACEMENT
A dental alignment guide system for dental implant placement has an anatomical guide, a tooth supported guide and a surgical guide. The system further can have an articulation piece, a prosthetic seat, an analog anatomical model and artificial teeth. The system has a plurality of implants, the implants being abutments, preferably multiunit abutments, a plurality of screws for attaching the anatomical guide to bone, pins to removably attach the various guides and the artificial teeth to the anatomical guide as assemblies during the method of practicing the invention.
Depth adjustable surgical pin
A depth adjustable surgical pin retains a surgical template at a desired depth, vertical and horizontal position, and pressure against an organic substrate. The surgical pin provides a housing and a retention rod that work in conjunction to achieve this retention function. The housing is defined by a mount end, rod end, inner sidewall having a female thread, and an outer sidewall having ridges for adhering to a drill guide aperture of the surgical template. The housing sets at a predetermined depth in the drill guide aperture. The retention rod comprises a proximal end having a cap, distal end tapering to a sharp point, and a male thread that threadably engages the housing. The retention rod serves as an anchor and provides added strength to the surgical template. The housing becomes an integral part of the surgical guide template to guide the retention rod into a locking position.
Drills for dentistry
Drills for dentistry, which, in a dental implant treatment, enables two or more holes to be bored at a predetermined angle and interval in a minute space in which a single tooth grows and enables treatment to be performed precisely and rapidly regardless of a skill level of a dentist, wherein an arrangement is provided where a first member provided with a drill body and a second member provided with a fixing needle intersect slid-ably at a predetermined angle, the drill body is installed in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the first member with its tip facing a direction in which the fixing needle is provided, the fixing needle is installed in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the second member with its tip facing a direction in which the drill body is provided, the drill body bores a first hole, bored obliquely with respect to a natural tooth growing direction, and a second hole facing the first hole mutually at a predetermined angle, and the second hole is bored by the drill body upon inserting the fixing needle in the first hole, fixing the second member to the jawbone, and sliding the first member with respect to the second member, fixed to the jawbone, as a reference.
DENTAL IMPLANT
A dental implant adapted for implanting within a jaw bone, the implant comprising a horizontally-oriented body having a length extending in the mesial-distal direction of the jaw bone, the body having a threaded cavity dimensioned for receiving a prosthetic abutment, and wherein the cavity comprises an opening that is located wholly within a buccolingual width of the body.
Endosteal horizontally placed dental implant system and method
An endosteal horizontally placed non-crestal dental implant system including at least one dental implant having a proximal end, a distal end, an internal architecture, and a helical thread extending along the outside region between the proximal end and the distal end. The one or more implants are configured to be implanted horizontally or near horizontally by way of a non-crestal approach, into a mandible or maxilla and to engage with bone tissue. The system also includes at least one dental implant abutment having a proximal end for attaching to the said dental implant and a distal end configured for the attachment of a dental prosthesis. A method of diagnosis and treatment of edentulism using the endosteal horizontally placed non-crestal dental implant system is also recited.
Implants for an artificial tooth
The present invention is to provide implants for an artificial tooth that does not require a period, for integration of implant bodies and a jawbone as in the background art, enables treatment even of a patient whose jawbone is small in bone amount or thickness, can reduce the treatment period and the number of times of treatment for many patients, and can lighten the mental and physical burden of a patient by minimizing the impact to the jawbone, and this invention is characterized by the following means, an artificial tooth, implant device with an arrangement where at least two implant bodies, each having a shaft portion, form a pair, a hook portion, hooked in a hook hole bored in a jawbone, is provided on the shaft portion of each implant body, the hook, portion is bent with respect to the shaft portion, and when the respective implant bodies are hooked onto the jawbone, tip portions of the hook portions are positioned so as to face each other inwardly, the arrangement being provided with a fixing means for fixing the implant bodies to each other.
DIGITAL FULL ARCH APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR IMMEDIATE DEFINITIVE DENTAL PROSTHESES
The apparatus and methods disclosed utilize a healing assembly including a prosthetic shoe and a healing sleeve that, when used in mating combination, allow the radiographic capture of the prosthetic shoe as it relates to the dental implant surface(s) and the exact orientation of the final prosthetic tooth set-up to provide all information required in one step, for final CAD/CAM of the final fixed implant supported prosthetic bridge.
Non-Crestal Dental Implant System And Method
A non-crestal dental implant system includes at least one dental implant having a proximal end and a distal end; the implant configured to be inserted by way of a non-crestal approach into a mandible or maxilla from a specific zone originating in either the buccal side or lingual side of a mandible or either the buccal side or palatal side of a maxilla towards a termination point in a specific zone in a mandible or maxilla via an omnidirectional pathway which does not go through or contact the crest of the ridge, which thereby utilizes otherwise non-usable bone to secure at least one dental implant; and at least one retentive element having a proximal end for attaching to the dental implant and a distal end configured for the attachment of a dental prosthesis. A method for patient diagnosis and treatment with the system is also included.
