A virtual model of an intraoral cavity is provided, wherein this process is initialized by a dental clinic, and the design and manufacture of a suitable dental prosthesis for the intraoral cavity is shared between a dental lab and a service center.

A dental implant for supporting periodontal tissue and the supporting bone is provided. The dental implant includes an implant member with inner canal for insertion into a periodontal bone socket, and an anchoring assembly. The anchoring assembly includes a first fastening element and radially equidistant cylindrical members. The first fastening element engages the implant member within the hollow axial cavity. The root section includes through-holes for radially and forcibly sliding the cylindrical members through them. When the first fastening element apically advances within the hollow axial cavity, the cylindrical members generate an anchoring force to anchor the dental implant.

The method includes a first operation of aligning and setting a plurality of pieces of implantation information of fixtures according to alveolar bone information in a planning image, a second operation of designing and manufacturing a surgical guide and a holder abutment mounting guide, a third operation of preparing a temporary denture corrected to form a temporary holder insertion portion having an inner surface part into which a holder device is inserted to be shape-matched therewith, in which the surgical guide is installed in the target arch to implant the fixtures and the fixing bar is fixed to the holder abutments moved to and coupled with top ends of the fixtures by the holder abutment mounting guide, and a fourth operation of manufacturing a digital overdenture including an artificial tooth portion and an artificial gum portion.

An adaptor for a dental implant abutment includes a body extending along a longitudinal axis between a proximal end and a distal end. The body has a longitudinally extending bore extending from the proximal end for sliding receipt of a post of a dental implant abutment. The body has a distal shaft for inserting into a dental prosthetic, and the distal shaft tapers in outer diameter going towards the distal end. The body has proximal flange for securing between the dental prosthetic and the dental implant abutment. The proximal flange has a first ledge for abutting the dental implant abutment and a second ledge for abutting the dental prosthetic, and the second ledge tapers in outer diameter going towards the distal end.

The overdenture holder device includes a holder abutment in which a through insertion portion is formed to be opened in both directions of a body portion having a bottom end portion inserted into a top end of the fixture and protruding upward and a fastening hole penetrates along a longitudinal direction and has an inner circumferential side on which a holding step protruding radially inward is formed, a fastening screw having a bottom end portion inserted into the fastening hole to be screw-coupled with the inside of the top end of the fixture and a head portion formed at a top end portion and to be held by the holding step, and a pressurizing device coupled with a top end of the body portion and configured to provide a pressurizing force such that an outer surface of the fixing bar is fixed to an inside of the through insertion portion.

A denture abutment retention apparatus and a denture including one or more denture abutment retention apparatuses configured to allow the denture to be easily engaged with and secured to a plurality of denture abutments in a user's mouth using sliding motion of the denture from the sides of the plurality of denture abutments.

A method of installing a dental prosthesis that includes having a practitioner install at least one narrow implant and at least one standard implant into a subject's bone, where the narrow implant has a narrow implant abutment that is exposed after installation, and the standard implant has a standard implant abutment exposed after installation. The practitioner places a narrow implant housing over each narrow implant abutment, and places a standard implant housing over each standard implant abutment. The practitioner flows a resin within a channel located within a dental prosthesis and places the dental prosthesis over each narrow implant housing and each standard implant housing such that the resin surrounds each narrow implant housing and each standard implant housing. Once the resin cures, each narrow implant housing and each standard implant housing is fixed within the resin and the resin is fixed within the dental prosthesis.

A dental alignment guide system for dental implant placement has an anatomical guide, a tooth supported guide and a surgical guide. The system further can have an articulation piece, a prosthetic seat, an analog anatomical model and artificial teeth. The system has a plurality of implants, the implants being abutments, preferably multiunit abutments, a plurality of screws for attaching the anatomical guide to bone, pins to removably attach the various guides and the artificial teeth to the anatomical guide as assemblies during the method of practicing the invention.

A set of components for dental prosthetic restoration includes a ceramic dental implant having an internal connecting receiving space. An internally threaded insert is added into the internal connecting receiving space of the dental implant, and rotatably indexed.
