Ultrasonic tip for ultrasonic instrument and method of dental treatment with said ultrasonic tip

The invention provides an ultrasonic tip in titanium for ultrasonic instrument, and further provides a method of dental treatment of peri-implantitis using an ultrasonic tip operable to cooperate with an ultrasonic instrument to transmit ultrasonic vibrations to a surface of a dental implant to be treated, said implant and said ultrasonic tip being made of titanium. The present invention guarantees a safe and complete debridement of most implants for the dental treatment of peri-implantitis, and for the maintenance of the implant surface after such a treatment. Designed in pure titanium, like most dental implant in the market, the tip of the present invention advantageously avoids the transfer of material on the implant and the alteration of the surface, thereby preventing the risk of bacterial recontamination.

A dental implant includes an insertion portion which extends along an implant axis, and a coronal projection for receiving an abutment having a dental prosthesis formed thereon, which can be mounted on the dental implant with a screw. The insertion portion includes a coronal region and an apical region. The coronal projection extends from the coronal region of the insertion portion in the coronal direction and along a prosthesis axis. The coronal projection and the insertion portion are integrally connected in one piece. The prosthesis axis and the implant axis are inclined towards each other, and the abutment having the dental prosthesis formed thereon is attachable to the dental implant with only one screwing operation in the direction of the prosthesis axis.

CONTROL GUIDE FOR CHECKING PLACEMENT OF AT LEAST TWO DENTAL ELEMENTS

Embodiments of the present application provide a calibration method and device for dental implant navigation surgery, and a tracking method and device for dental implant navigation surgery. The calibration method comprises: (110) obtaining a position of a scanning area (304) relative to a second visual marker (306) based on a spatial position of a first visual marker (305) disposed on a scanning device (302), a spatial position of the second visual marker (306) disposed on a surgical area (303), and a scanning position of the scanning area (304) obtained by scanning with the scanning device (302); and (120) registering the position of the scanning area (304) relative to the second visual marker (306) with a three-dimensional scene to obtain a transformation matrix, and applying the transformation matrix to the tracking of a surgical instrument. Therefore, the position change of a surgical instrument may be reflected in real time in the three-dimensional scene without implanting a marker point into the body of a patient, even if the patient's head moves during the surgery, thereby accurately tracking the surgical instrument in real time.
