INSTANTANEOUS DENTAL IMPLANT SURGERY GUIDING DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed are an instantaneous dental implant surgery guiding device and a method thereof, of which a main structure includes a base, a receiving space, a sphere, a through hole, and a adjustor. With the above structure, a dentist places the base at a tooth missing site in a patient oral portion, and, after applying glue for fixing, carries out computer-tomographic scanning to allow the dentist to diagnose and assess, and then, the adjustor may be operated to drive the sphere to move in the receiving space in order to change angle and position of the through hole of the sphere, thereby allowing the dentist to apply an implant driller to make a drill along a predetermined route defined by the through hole of the sphere, enabling subsequent operations of expanding the implant route in a bone with drillers of different sizes and positioning the implant.
Components for use with a surgical guide for dental implant placement
The present invention is a surgical guide for guiding the insertion of a dental implant into a desired location in a patient's mouth. The implant includes a non-rotational structure. The surgical guide includes a structure and a master tube. The structure has a negative impression surface to be fitted on and placed over gingival tissue, bone, and/or teeth in the patient's mouth. The structure includes an opening through which the dental implant is placed. The master tube is located at the opening. The master tube includes indicia for alignment with the non-rotational structure on the implant such that the non-rotational structure of the implant is at a known angular orientation with respect to the master tube. The present invention includes kits of various components used with the surgical guide and with the dental surgery using the surgical guide.
Fixed detachable dental attachment device, assembly and methods of using the same
A fixed, detachable dental attachment device has a cap for securing a dental appliance, a ring, and an abutment to attachment to a tooth root or implant. Also described herein are methods of securing a dental appliance in a subject's mouth by means of the dental attachment device. Further described herein is a dental attachment device for immediate load on a provisional denture and then incorporated into the final restoration.
Surgical drill type cutting tool
A surgical drill type cutting tool includes a shank and an active portion extending in the extension of the shank, with chip areas extending along the active portion, and a ring surrounding a part of the active portion, an inner surface of the ring engaging the active portion without closing off the chip areas, allowing irrigation fluid to provides useful irrigation over most of the length of the active portion of the surgical drill bit.
Irrigated surgical guides and methods of manufacturing the same
Provided herein are surgical guides with internal channels for irrigation cooling. In one embodiment, an apparatus for guiding a surgical instrument includes a proximal side and a distal side. A first channel is configured to guide a material removal device, where the first channel extends from the proximal side of the apparatus to the distal side of the apparatus. A second channel configured to direct irrigation fluid, where the second channel extends from the proximal side of the of the apparatus to the distal side of the apparatus. The first channel is separate from the second channel. A method of performing a surgical procedure and a method of manufacturing a surgical guide are also disclosed. In certain embodiments, the surgical guides may be manufactured via additive manufacturing processes, including for example, three-dimensional printing processes.
Dental hand piece for Assisting Measurement
The present invention provides a dental hand piece for assisting depth measurement comprising a hand piece main body and at least one measuring scale. The hand piece main body has a hand piece head, a joint section and a holding section; a drill is engaged with the hand piece head; and the joint section is connected to the hand piece head and the holding section. The at least one measuring scale is disposed on a surface of the hand piece head, and perpendicular or parallel to the drill. Therefore, the dental hand piece for assisting depth measurement provides the dentist with a clear indication of the measuring scale when drilling or grinding, to avoid the problem of excessive or insufficient drilling depth, so as to achieve the stability of the dental implant after the operation.
PIN ENGAGEMENT DEVICE RELATING TO GUIDED PLACEMENT IN A SURGICAL PROCEDURE
A device configured to engage and hold a structure (e.g., pin) to be inserted in a hole or opening of a target structure (e.g., a surgical guide) during a surgical procedure (e.g. a dental implant procedure). The device can include a first arm having a first arm end portion with a first groove. The device includes a second arm coupled to the first arm, the second arm including a second arm end portion with a second groove. The device can be transitioned between an open position and a closed position, In the closed position, the first groove of the first end portion and the second groove of the second end portion form an enclosure to securely engage at least a portion of a pin.
Combination, system; holding means; dental tool and dental set
A combination has an implant, a dental dam and a holding device for detachably holding the dental dam at an implant end portion of the implant. The holding device is formed of a circular ring which is closed on its periphery and which has a ring-clamping portion that extends around a ring through-opening. A system has a combination that has an implant, which is preferably a dental implant; a dental dam; and a holding device. A dental tool can be used for detachably fastening a dental dam to an implant via a holding device.
COUPLING ELEMENT FOR DENTISTRY APPLICATIONS AND CORRESPONDING KIT
A coupling element for dentistry applications having a tubular body which forms an internal duct that is open outward at respective ends of the body. A first end forms a first inlet for the insertion in the duct of the head of a pin which can be coupled directly or indirectly to a maxillary bone tissue. The first end has a recess provided along the edge of the first inlet and forms a guiding portion for the insertion of the head of the pin; along a segment of the duct which is contiguous to the first inlet there is a protrusion which is substantially aligned longitudinally with the recess, for contrasting the accidental rotation of a ring provided with a respective discontinuity, which can be arranged in the segment in order to lock the head of the pin.
COMPONENTS FOR USE WITH A SURGICAL GUIDE FOR DENTAL IMPLANT PLACEMENT
The present invention relates to dental components used for guiding the insertion of a dental implant into a desired location in a patient's mouth using a surgical guide including a master tube. The present invention includes various components that can be used with the surgical guide and during a dental procedure using the surgical guide.
