FLASH LAMP SYSTEM FOR DISINFECTING CONVEYORS
A flash lamp system provides flashes to a bottom side of a conveyor to disinfect the conveyor while the conveyor is transporting products on a top side of the conveyor. The flashes are provided to discontinuous segments of the conveyor such that a portion of the conveyor is treated with each revolution, but a controller causes the entire length of the conveyor to be disinfected over multiple revolutions. The controller can respond to changes in speed and detected levels of disinfection. The disinfection system can be used in many applications, such as the transporting of fresh or frozen food products.
CUTTING APPARATUS FOR CUTTING FOOD ITEMS CONVEYED ON A CONVEYOR INCLUDING AT LEAST ONE CONVEYOR BELT
This invention relates to a cutting apparatus for cutting food items conveyed on a conveyor including at least one conveyor belt. A cutter is arranged above a gap extending across the at least one conveyor belt. The cutter is positioned in relation to the gap such that the cutting path of the cutter extends through the food items and the gap and below the surface level of the at least one conveyor belt. The cutter is adapted to be connected to a control mechanism for operating crosswise movement of the cutter along the gap. The gap is formed between adjacent elongated supporting means such as rollers with a fixed internal arrangement, where the adjacent elongated supporting means and the cutter is adapted to be connected to a control mechanism for operating back and forth movement of the adjacent elongated supporting means and the cutter parallel to the conveying direction while maintaining the internal arrangement of the adjacent elongated supporting means and the cutter fixed.

SEQUENCING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A sequencing system and a robotic storage and picking system include a plurality of containers disposed in stacks beneath a grid having a first set of tracks and second set of tracks, the first and second sets of tracks being disposed substantially perpendicular to each other. Plural load handling devices are operable on the grid, the load handling devices lifting and depositing containers from and to the stacks. The load handling devices can deposit containers on to conveyor belts into predetermined positions, the positions being fillable in any random order and multiple positions being fillable at any one time.
Weighing and labeling conveyor having alternating printer use
In an embodiment, the present invention provides a weighing and labeling conveyor for labeling articles, the articles including a first application point at a same point on the article, the conveyor including: a weighing conveyor for determining the weight of the articles; a transport apparatus for transporting the articles; and a labeling system for labeling the articles, the labeling system including three labelers, each labeler including an applicator, each applicator being suitable for applying a label to the first application point on an article while the article is being transported on the transport apparatus. Of the three labelers, during normal operation two labelers are in an active operating state and one labeler is in a passive operating state. During normal operation, the two labelers that are in the active operating state alternately label the first application point of successive articles.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DIE TRANSFER
In certain embodiments, a system includes: a source lane configured to move a first die container between a load port and a source lane staging area; an inspection sensor configured to produce a sensor result based on a die on the first die container; a pass target lane configured to move a second die container between a pass target lane out port and a pass target lane staging area; a fail target lane configured to move a third die container between a fail target lane out port and a fail target lane staging area; and a conveyor configured to move the die from the first die container at the source lane staging area to either the second die container at the pass target lane staging area or the fail target lane staging area based on the sensor result.
