The pallet stacking machine comprises a pallet housing, a pallet lifter, a control unit, and operator controls. The pallet stacking machine may be operable to lift a pallet stack so that an individual pallet may be added to the bottom of the pallet stack. The pallet stacking machine may be operable to lift a subset of the pallet stack that excludes a bottom pallet so that the bottom pallet may be removed from the pallet stack. The individual pallets comprising the pallet stack may be of one or more sizes, shapes, forms, and materials. As non-limiting examples, the individual pallets comprising the pallet stack may comprise mixed dimensions such as 48 inch×48 inch pallets and 40 inch by 48 inch pallets, may comprise a mix of two-way entry pallets and four-way entry pallets, and may comprise a mix of pallet materials.

STACKING SYSTEM AND METHOD

A system for forming horizontally stacked groups of containers includes an infeed screw set, an orienting screw set, and a grouping mechanism. Containers are presented to the infeed screw in a vertical orientation, and are progressed from the infeed screw set to the orienting screw set via a transitioning pocket defined by overlapping pockets of the infeed and orienting screw sets. As containers are progressed through the orienting screw the containers are rotated via a series of orienting pockets to a horizontal orientation and progressed via a series of nesting pockets to form a series of horizontally nested containers. The series is discharged to a grouping mechanism which separates a predefined number of containers from the series to form a horizontally stacked group, which is outfed from the stacking system.

A method and a feeding apparatus for feeding spacers for cigarette packs are disclosed, in which each spacer comprises a substantially rectangular flat body, the spacers being insertable in cartons for cigarette packs to space out packs with dimensions smaller than the standard dimensions; the spacers are stacked on a pallet that is positioned in a withdrawal station; the stacks of spacers are withdrawn from the withdrawal station and transferred to a respective hopper by passing each stack of spacers through an upper opening of the hopper, to then unload the spacers one by one through a lower opening of the hopper.

Container stacking storage system loading trolley

A container stacking storage system loading trolley that includes a chassis and a height-adjustable container seat that includes a receiving region with a container contact surface, wherein a lifting device that operates in a lifting direction is arranged between the chassis and the container seat. The container stacking storage system operates in an economical manner, whereby a bearing arrangement is arranged between the container seat and the chassis, which bearing arrangement enables a movement of the container seat transversely to the lifting direction relative to the chassis.

BLISTER PACKAGE STACKER

A blister collation system includes a blister packager with a blister seal station which seals a blister package with a medicament inside and a blister package stacker connected to the blister packager via a conveyor which moves individual blister packages. The blister package stacker has a nest inlet for reception of the blister packages from the conveyor, a nest assembly for holding one of the blister packages, and a first blister package collection tower for storing a stack of the blister packages. The nest assembly is configured to insert one blister package at a time upward into a bottom of the first collection tower. The stacker further has a tower gate holding the inserted blister packages and a mechanism for pushing the stack of the blister packages from the first collection tower into a storage container.

Blister package stacker

A method for forming packages of blister packages including sealing a blister package with an item inside; moving the blister packages on a conveyor toward a blister package stacker; receiving the blister packages one at a time in a nest inlet of the blister package stacker and holding the received blister package in a nest assembly; inserting one blister package at a time into a bottom of a blister package collection tower section by upward movement of the blister; retaining the inserted package in the blister package collection tower section; and repeating the receiving, inserting, and retaining to form a stack of the blister packages in the blister package collection tower section.
