TRUCK DUMPER DUST CONTROL
A truck dumper including a material receiving hopper, a tilt table configured to dump a load from the truck or truck trailer into the material receiving hopper. The invention includes a stilling shed positioned above the material receiving hopper and at least one curtain baffle suspended below the roof of the stilling shed. The curtain baffles are positioned such that there is a gap located near the roof and an upper margin of the at least one curtain baffle through which air can flow. The invention further includes an air exhaust structure configured to exhaust dust laden air from the interior of the stilling shed.
Silica dust controls for hydraulic fracturing operations
A system for controlling dust during hydraulic fracturing operations includes a manifold having a plurality of ports for capturing dust when negative air pressure is applied to the manifold. A support frame positions the manifold above a piece of hydraulic fracturing equipment receiving sand from a sand source.
Dust control systems for bulk material containers
Controlling the dust emissions from the discharge of bulk materials from a container provides many benefits. A container engages a support structure that includes a frame. The frame includes a dust control enclosure coupled to an outlet or a hopper at the top of the frame and the container or a discharge gate of the container. The dust control enclosure comprises a collapsible and flexible material so that a tight seal is formed between the container and the hopper or the outlet of the frame. Dust from the discharged of the bulk material from the container is contained within the support structure. A dust control panel may also be disposed at the top of the frame to prevent any dust from migrating through the frame. The container may comprise a plurality of dust enclosure panels to further prevent the escape of dust during discharge of the bulk material.
WIND DEFLECTION APPARATUSES FOR TROUGH CONVEYORS
A trough conveyor that transports fine bulk material and is exposed to windy conditions may include a belt for transporting bulk material, a center roll for supporting the belt, first and second wing rolls that support angled segments of the belt, a frame that supports the center roll and the first and second wing rolls, and a hood cover disposed above the belt. The trough conveyor may also include first and second baffles that form labyrinths that help attenuate wind velocity over the fine bulk material. The baffles may also help contain fine bulk material that is stirred up within a stilling space formed between the hood cover, the belt, and the baffles. In addition or in the alternative, the trough conveyor may include fairings that deflect crosswind beneath the belt.
SYSTEM FOR CONVEYING PROPPANT TO A FRACKING SITE HOPPER
A proppant delivery assembly receives and supports a plurality of containers having proppant stored therein. A cradle has a top surface which receives and supports the plurality of containers when positioned thereon. The cradle enables the plurality of containers to dispense the proppant stored therein. A proppant mover is positioned to underlie and extend along the top surface of the cradle aligned with the plurality of containers to receive proppant from the plurality of containers. The proppant mover carries proppant away from the plurality of containers. A chute is coupled to the cradle for receiving proppant from the proppant mover and directing the proppant to a blender hopper. A hood assembly is disposed at an end of the chute opposite the proppant mover for directing a vacuum air flow that removes a volume of air containing proppant dust particles directed from the chute. The hood assembly includes a curtain extending about a perimeter of the hood assembly and downward therefrom to at least partially define the volume of air being removed by the hood assembly.
BULK MATERIAL PRECISION IN FIELD BELT CONVEYOR LOADING APPARATUS
A loading apparatus for a granular material conveyor system having a conveyor belt is described. The apparatus has a chute assembly mounted to a frame over the conveyor belt and having an adjustment mechanism and a positional lock assembly connected to the chute assembly and the frame for adjusting an upper surface of the chute assembly to a desired angle within a range of possible angles. One or more side deflector panels are mounted to the frame over the conveyor belt and an adjusting rod assembly connects the deflector panels to the frame for adjusting an angle of the deflector panels.
LOADING DEVICE FOR PARTICULATE MATERIAL
The present invention relates to a loading device for loading particulate material, comprising a body with a first opening and a second opening, wherein a gasket is arranged at the first opening. The present invention also relates to a mixing device with a loading device according to the invention and a method of loading particulate material using the loading device according to the invention.
EARTH WORKING MACHINE HAVING A FILTERED DUST EXTRACTION SYSTEM WITH AN ELASTICALLY DEFORMABLE FILTER HOUSING
A mobile earth working machine (10), for example a road milling machine, recycler, or surface miner, includes: a working apparatus (12) for material-removing working of a region of a substrate (U); and an extraction device (40) that is embodied to extract dust-laden air from at least one machine region at at least one extraction location (46), and to exhaust extracted air at a discharge location (50) different from the extraction location (46),
the extraction device (40) comprising a filter apparatus (42) arranged along an operational flow path from the at least one extraction location (46) to the discharge location (50), the filter apparatus (42) encompassing: a filter housing (54); a filter element (52) received in the filter housing (54), the filter element (52) being embodied to remove dust particles from the air flowing through the filter apparatus (42). The filter apparatus (42) comprises a deformation actuator arrangement (44, 76a) that interacts force-transferringly with at least one wall (86) of the filter housing (54) in such a way that by actuation of the deformation actuator arrangement (44, 76a), the at least one wall (86) of the filter housing (54) is deformable orthogonally to its wall surface.
