Positioning Handle and Occlusal Locks for Removable Prosthesis

The present invention discloses occlusal locks and positioning handles as part of an upper and/or lower denture or other prosthetic solution, the locks facilitating alignment construction and delivery of the conversion prosthesis, expediting the clinical procedure, and ensuring accurate alignment that improves the accuracy of rapid tooth replacement procedures.

Method and apparatus for recording spatial gingival soft tissue relationship to implant placement within alveolar bone for immediate-implant placement

A dental implant has a hollow shell with outer bio-compatible surface for engaging a soft tissue socket left in gingival tissue after a tooth has been extracted, to promote healing. The shell tapers outwardly from a first to a second perimeter, the second perimeter being asymmetrically scalloped with opposite distal and mesial peaks and opposite lingual and facial valleys between the peaks. A dental implant in the bone socket left after tooth extraction is rigidly connected to a temporary post, the temporary post extending in the shell. The shell engages against the soft tissue socket without gaps and without requiring alignment between the shell and implant axes.

The invention relates to a method for configurating a split denture. A digital 3D model of the denture comprising a plurality of teeth is provided. The digital 3D model of the denture is split into a digital 3D model of a base part and a digital 3D model of a teeth part. The base part comprises a first artificial gingiva portion. Further, the base part is configured to support the teeth part. The teeth part comprises the plurality of teeth of the denture and a second gingiva portion. The teeth part is configured to be mounted on the base part. The digital 3D model of the split denture is provided for generating at least one of the base part and the teeth part.

METHOD OF GENERATING MANUFACTURING PARAMETERS DURING A DENTAL PROCEDURE FOR A DENTAL PROSTHESIS
20240189076 · 2024-06-13 ·

The present invention relates to a method of generating manufacturing parameters during a dental procedure to construct a dental prosthesis, the method comprising the steps of: a) intra-orally scanning a patient to generate intra-oral data; b) extra-orally scanning the patient during a mandibular motion to generate dynamic extra-oral maxillofacial data; c) resolving the intra-oral data with the dynamic extra-oral maxillofacial data to generate a combined data model; d) generating a model representation of the dental prosthesis based on the combined data model and displaying the model representation to a user; and e) generating manufacturing parameters based on the combined data model.

Atmospheric non-thermal gas plasma method for dental surface treatment

The provision of dental restorations can be improved by generating a cold atmospheric plasma inside the mouth of the patient and then applying that cold atmospheric plasma onto a dental restoration site. The dental restoration site can be composed of either or both of dentin and enamel. Further, the provision of dental restorations can also be improved by introducing a dental adhesive onto a dental restoration site and treating it with a cold atmospheric plasma.

Pedodontic/veterinary dental crown system
10299888 · 2019-05-28 ·

A dental crown consisting essentially of stabilized zirconia. The dental crown is particularly suited for pedodontic and veterinary applications and most preferably for pedodontic applications. The zirconia crown may be formed by one of several manufacturing processes. The formed crown exterior can be polished and fine polished and can be covered, preferably only partially, with a porcelain glaze to produce an aesthetic outer surface mimicking a natural tooth. Also disclosed is a method for providing and placing a dental crown upon a natural tooth.

Applications, Uses, Methods of Moldable Material for Dental Uses

This disclosure generally relates to people who do not have the time or money to go to a dentist right away or they are phobic. People need an affordable and easy solution to this problem that they can manage themselves until they can get professional dentist help. If a tooth or dental restoration goes missing the adjacent and opposing teeth can shift causing more harm; this invention can help to hold and stabilize the teeth and help prevent further shifting and harm. This invention could help improve someone's speech, smile, and self-confidence. This invention can be a solution for temporary tooth replacement while an extraction site, implant site, or surgery site is healing. This invention could be used by professionals and non-professionals in the home, office, or on the go traveling. This invention could be good to have with first-aid kits at home, office, or schools. Additional dental uses are also possible.

Dental prosthesis and method of its production utilizing standardized framework keys and matching premanufactured teeth

A system including a method and associated structures creates efficiencies in the manufacture of prosthetic tooth support frameworks. Pre-manufactured teeth with matching internal keys are used in the setup of a patient prototype. Each key includes a shaft, a cervical platform, a retention knob and preferably at least one channel for the expulsion of excess adhesive fluid. The cervical platforms are shaped to provide intimate contact with a base of their respective tooth. The same tooth/key pairs are then used to make a framework pattern from the setup positioning. The pattern can be cast or scanned for direct machining to produce the finished framework.
