Chainwheel, drum motor, semi-finished chainwheel product and method for producing a chainwheel
The invention relates to a chainwheel (1, 1) for transferring a drive output from an input shaft, more particularly from a drum motor (800), onto a synthetic modular belt (900), a drum motor (800) for driving a synthetic modular belt, a semi-finished chainwheel product (10) for a chainwheel (1, 1) and a method for producing a chainwheel (1, 1). The chainwheel comprises at least one toothed ring and an outer ring (200, 200) and an inner ring (300, 300) adjoining the toothed ring, wherein the inner ring (300, 300) and the outer ring (200, 200) are connected to one another via bridges (410, 410).
HYGIENIC HOLLOW FRAME ASSEMBLY
A cleanable conveyor frame and a method for making a cleanable frame having a simplified frame design. Infeed and outfeed assemblies are movable between operating and cleaning positions. An outfeed assembly includes a drive for a conveyor belt and a scraper assembly. The scraper assembly comprises a scraper blade mounted to a mounting bar extending between two connecting plates and a leaf spring extending rearward from the mounting bar for biasing the scraper blade into contact with the conveyor belt.
Secondary belt cleaner with modular, torsional tensioned arm and replaceable blade tips
A secondary belt cleaner system for cleaning the surface of the return side of an endless conveyor belt. The system includes a plurality of blade devices that are rotatably biased against the return side surface using a respective torsion spring therein. Each blade device includes a head portion formed by a blade support and a replaceable blade tip that is releasably secured to the blade support. The head portion is connected to one end of a blade arm and the other end of the blade arm is coupled to a rotatable shaft inside a housing that is fixedly secured to a support shaft having mounting brackets at each end for mounting the system transversely to the conveyor belt frame. Adjacent blade devices have different blade arm lengths in order to have the blade coverage overlap with no gaps in between. Because these blade arm lengths are different and to maintain each blade tip in contact with the return side surface, the respective torsion springs in adjacent blade devices are pretensioned to different angular amounts.
Techniques for directing ultraviolet energy towards a moving surface
An ultraviolet (UV) emission device may emit energy towards a movable surface of a conveyor system. A housing of the UV emission device may attach to a frame of the conveyor system. A lateral edge of the housing may extend across the moveable surface. The housing and a portion of the moveable surface may be inclined with respect to the frame. A barrier bracket of the UV emission device may support an absorptive barrier along the lateral edge, the absorptive barrier configured to contact the moveable surface. In a first position of the barrier bracket, the absorptive barrier contacts the moveable surface and the barrier bracket activates an interlock switch. In a second position of the barrier bracket, the barrier bracket deactivates the interlock switch. Responsive to deactivation of the interlock switch, a controller may provide a control signal to decrease power to the UV energy emission element.
RETURN ROLLER ASSEMBLIES FOR CONVEYOR
A return roller assembly that is designed for use as part of a conveyor assembly to improve the ability to clean the conveyor assembly. The return roller assembly includes a roller shaft that extends between side walls of a conveyor frame. A plurality of support rollers are positioned along the length of the roller shaft to support a lower run of a continuous conveyor belt. A spacer is positioned between each of the support rollers to define the position of the rollers along the roller shaft. The spacer can be snapped onto the roller shaft and includes a series of standoffs that space the inner surface of the spacer from the roller shaft. A series of cleaning fins extend radially from the outer surface of the spacer and impart rotation to the spacer relative to the roller shaft during cleaning with a spray of water. The spacer can be formed from an extrusion cut to length.
Linked disc assembly
A linked disc assembly for use in continuous chain tensioning assemblies in tubular chain drag conveyors, comprising link members and alternating double ear disc members. Each disc member comprises a disc plate and an ear member transversely projecting therefrom. Each ear member consists of an arcuate leg defining a channel extending parallel to the disc plate and hingedly engaged by a link member. Each open chain link member defines a spacing gap. Each ear member arcuate leg defines a transverse notch adjacent a corresponding disc plate, the notch sized and shaped complementarily to the link member gap so as to form a sliding ramp for manual guided quick release through passage of a link member.
Apparatus for Shelling Eggs
The present invention relates to an apparatus (10) for shelling eggs which includes: a casing (11) defining a shelling compartment (A) and an unloading compartment (B); a shelling device (12) housed in the shelling compartment (A) and configured to open egg shells; an unloading device (13) housed in the unloading compartment (B) and comprising at least one hopper member (14a, 14b, 14c) suitable for receiving and unloading a shelling product consisting of albumen, yolk or a mixture of albumen and yolk; a transport device (15) comprising conveyors (16, 17) configured to separately transport albumen and yolk from the shelling device (12) to the unloading device (13); sanitizing devices (18, 19a, 19b, 20, 30) housed in the casing (11) and adapted to emit ultraviolet radiation and which comprise a first sanitizing device (18) positioned to irradiate operating surfaces of the at least one hopper member (14a, 14b, 14c), to reduce a bacterial load on said operating surfaces which are surfaces that come into contact with yolk and/or albumen during the operation of the apparatus (10).

Cleaning method and device for belt buffers
In order to clean the webs in a belt buffer having a plurality of belts arranged one above the other, a cleaning medium is applied to a running belt by means of a cleaning device and vacuumed off together with the loosened contamination. A device for carrying out this cleaning has a cleaning head for applying and vacuuming off the cleaning medium and a device for adjusting the height of the cleaning head to the level of the web to be cleaned and to move the cleaning head over the web to be cleaned.
FLAT-TOP SIDE-DRIVE MODULAR CONVEYOR BELT
A modular plastic conveyor belt constructed of a series of block-shaped belt modules. The belt has drive elements along its left and right sides for side-driving by a sprocket or drive belt. The top side and the bottom side are flat, devoid of drive structure, and provide high impact resistance and reversibility. Hinge elements along leading and trailing sides have circular hinge-pin holes or elongated oval holes that allow the belt to collapse under low tension.
