LINEAR MOTOR CONVEYOR SYSTEM FOR CLEAN/ASEPTIC ENVIRONMENTS
A linear motor conveyor system including: at least one track section comprising: electronic circuitry housed within the track section; and a rotatable segment comprising an end profile that abuts another track section to form a stepped groove sealed by a gasket. A moving element for a linear motor conveyor system including: a body; a first set of bearings attached to the body and angled to abut against a first guide rail of a conveyor system having a protrusion with opposing angled profiles; a second set of bearing attached to the body and designed to abut against a flat profile of a second guide rail of the conveyor system. A dry lubricant provided to the body and configured to lubricate a bearing surface of the linear motor conveyor system supporting the first set of bearings
Color stable and low wear polymer composition and articles made therefrom
A colorized and tribologically modified polyoxymethylene polymer composition is disclosed. The polyoxymethylene polymer composition is comprised of a polyoxymethylene polymer in combination with at least one tribological modifier. The tribological modifier may include a fluoropolymer. The polymer composition further contains at least one coloring agent in combination with a color stabilizer. The color stabilizer has been found to dramatically improve color consistency. Polymer articles molded from the polymer composition not only have excellent surface appearance but have excellent low friction characteristics when tested against aluminum.
ROLLERLESS IDLER MODULE AND VEHICLE CONVEYOR SYSTEM HAVING THE SAME
A rollerless idler module and a vehicle conveyor system having the same are provided. The vehicle conveyor system has an endless belt, a drive end at which the endless belt is driven to rotate, and an idler end opposite the drive end. The rollerless idler module includes a rollerless idler having a working surface positionable to contact the endless belt spanning between an upper transport portion of the endless belt and a lower return portion of the endless belt at the idler end, and a support structure adapted to secure the rollerless idler in a substantially stationary orientation.
DE-LAMINATION RESISTANT AND INTEGRATED VISUAL WEAR INDICATOR TIRE HUB
A drive wheel for a power drive unit of a cargo handling system is disclosed. One aspect of the drive wheel is that it includes one or more wear indicators for a tire of the drive wheel. Another aspect of the drive wheel is that it includes one or more features (e.g., at least one protrusion, alone or in combination with one or more slots) that resists relative rotational movement between the tire of the drive wheel and the hub of the drive wheel.
CONVEYOR SYSTEM FOR WHEELED STRUCTURES AND IMPROVEMENTS THERETO
A conveyor system has an endless belt with an upper transport portion sized to support a wheeled structure, and a lower return portion. A support deck is positioned to support the upper transport portion of the endless belt, the support deck includes a lower support deck structure, and wear plates that are supported on the lower support deck structure. The support deck includes alignment aperture pairs. Each alignment aperture pair includes a first alignment aperture through the lower support deck structure, and a second alignment aperture through one of the plurality of wear plates. A belt-rinsing system is provided and includes a plurality of rinsing system outlet bodies, wherein each of the plurality of rinsing system outlet bodies extends into one of the first alignment apertures of the lower support deck structure and into one of the second alignment apertures of one of the plurality of wear plates.
Article carousel
An article carousel may be configured for use with a track system. The article carousel may include a frame and a plate configured for movement with respect to the frame. The plate may include one or more carriers configured to receive one or more trolleys. Movement of the plate may enable each carrier to be aligned with the track system. During alignment, one or more trolleys may be transferred between each carrier and the track system.
Protective Wear Cover For Metering Unit
The present invention provides a protective wear cover which may be utilized in a metering device housing to protect the housing in an area which may be subjected to high impact by product flow. The protective wear cover may be installed inside the metering device housing at the venturi induction zone. The protective wear cover may be manufactured from a highly wear resistant material. The shape of the protective wear cover may be suited to conform to the metering device housing in the protected area to ensure a tight fit and negligible effect on air flow. This protective wear cover may therefore serve as a sacrificial barrier which prevents wear on the metering device housing and may be periodically replaced when worn. Replacing the protective wear cover negates the need to replace the whole metering device housing.
WEAR AMOUNT ESTIMATION DEVICE, WEAR AMOUNT LEARNING DEVICE, AND WEAR AMOUNT MONITORING SYSTEM
A wear amount estimation device estimates the amount of wear on mover wheels of a conveying device having a mover movable by a wheel-type guide mechanism, the mover being driven and controlled by a linear motor. The wear amount estimation device includes: a data acquisition unit that acquires, as estimation data, information on a control current flowing through the linear motor in order to drive and control the mover and information on a controlled position or speed of the driven mover; a storage unit that stores a wear amount estimation model for estimating the amount of wear; and a calculation unit that estimates the amount of wear by inputting the estimation data to the wear amount estimation model.
Interlocking Wear-Resistant Panel System
A wear panel for mining and materials handling applications is provided. The wear panel includes a housing matrix (1) with a top surface (2), a bottom surface (3) opposite the top surface (2) and at least one cavity (4) with cavity walls (5). The cavity (4) extends through the top surface (2) and the bottom surface (3). The wear panel also includes at least one wear-resistant member (6) with a preformed shape. The at least one wear-resistant member (6) has a top surface (7) and a bottom surface (8) opposite the top surface (7). The wear-resistant members (6) are disposed in the cavity (4) and are locked into place by their preformed shape and the cavity walls (5).
