Process for producing resin-impregnated fiber bundle
A process for producing a resin-impregnated fiber bundle includes an unwinding step in which a resin-unimpregnated fiber bundle is unwound, a resin impregnation step in which the fiber bundle is passed through an impregnation bath filled with a resin, and an impregnation acceleration step in which after the resin impregnation step, the resin is permeated into the fiber bundle, at least the impregnation acceleration step being performed in a decompression space having a pressure lower than atmospheric pressure. It is possible to produce a resin-impregnated fiber bundle using a decompression space for which decompression can be achieved with a simple device and in which the airtightness is easy to maintain and which has been configured so as to result in satisfactory working efficiency.

WINDING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A winding apparatus is disclosed for winding material around a core of flat shape rotated around a rotation axis carried by a crank that is in turn carried by another crank, the three rotation axes of the core and of the two cranks being motorized independently by respective electric cams, with three distinct laws of motion programmed to cancel the variations in position and speed of the material entering the core. The winding apparatus is used for the production of electric energy storage devices.

GLASS ROLL PRODUCTION METHOD
A manufacturing method for a glass roll includes cutting a glass ribbon along a longitudinal direction thereof in a cutting region on a conveyance path while conveying the glass ribbon, and taking up the cut glass ribbon around a roll core at a downstream end of the conveyance path. A conveyance-mode changeable region is provided between the cutting region and the downstream end of the conveyance path. The conveyance-mode changeable region enables a change in conveyance mode between a first mode of conveying the glass ribbon in a tensioned state and a second mode of conveying the glass ribbon in a loosened state. After the leading end portion of the glass ribbon is wound around the roll core in the first conveyance mode, the conveyance mode is shifted from the first conveyance mode to the second conveyance mode.

WINDING DEVICE
Provided is a winding device configured so that the entirety of the device can be thinned and looseness of an elongated member can be reduced. In a winding device 1A, a flat motor 2 is used as a motor, and a spool 3 and a magical planetary gear mechanism 4 are formed flat along an extending XY plane of the flat motor 2. Thus, the entirety of the device can be configured flat, and can be thinned. Moreover, the magical planetary gear mechanism 4 prevents rotation of the spool 3 by external force, and therefore, looseness of the elongated member can be reduced.
Methods for manufacturing continuous sheets for roller shades
In one aspect, a method for manufacturing a continuous sheet for use within a roller shade may generally include positioning a portion of a first sheet web adjacent to a mandrel, positioning a portion of a second sheet web adjacent to the mandrel and winding the first and second sheet webs around the mandrel such that a folded segment of the first sheet web is secured to a base segment of the second sheet web.

Magnet sheet winding device and propping tool thereof
A cylindrical winding tool 3 has three elongated members 5 obtained by splitting a cylindrical member in its axial direction into multiple pieces. The elongated members are interconnected in a hinged state in a circumferential direction by the magnet sheet. When the elongated members 5 are to be used, the elongated members 5 are placed in a spread state and arranged on the magnetically-attached object 4. When the elongated members 5 are not used, the elongated members 5 are gathered together in the circumferential direction, abutment sections 5b of the end faces of the adjacent elongated members are brought into abutment on each other and thus the cylindrical winding tool 3 having a required diameter can be formed.
