Powder filling processes
A method for filling a plurality of microdepressions in a major surface of a web with finely divided powder in which the web is fed continuously to and through a powder filling stage including a driven roller. A method of manufacturing an elongate carrier with microdepressions containing finely divided powder comprising steps filling a plurality of microdepressions in a major surface of a web as described, removing from upper surface of the web excess powder not filled within the microdepressions and remaining on areas of the surface between the depressions, and optionally slitting and/or cutting the web in width and/or length.
Open gap film roll core
The disclosure generally relates to a film roll core used for winding a polymeric film around, an apparatus for winding the polymeric film on the film roll core, a process of winding the polymeric film on the film roll core, and a rolled film on the film roll core. The disclosure more particularly relates to an open gap film roll core that is capable of reducing defects in wound films.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREPARING RELEASE PAPER ROLLS OF ADHESIVE INSULATION MATERIAL AND RELEASE PAPER ROLLS OF ADHESIVE INSULATION MATERIAL WHICH ARE STACKABLE AND NON-ADHERENT TO EACH OTHER
A method and apparatus is disclosed for preparing release paper rolls of adhesive duct insulation material which are stackable and non-adherent to each other. The adhesive insulation material contemplated is the type used for sealing crevices and spaces in air cooling and leaking systems generally referred to as Heating, Ventilation and Cooling systems, or HVAC. The apparatus and method disclosed dispenses strips (16) of the adhesive insulation material onto release paper (20) generally silicone coated on at least one side, leaving a marginal tab (30) which is then bent upwardly to contact each alternate side face (32) of the insulation strips (16) to protect them from adhering to each other when placed in a shipping container. This system thus avoids the need for inserting a sheet of interface paper between the rolls to prevent them from sticking to each other.

Empty Plastic Bottle Recycling Apparatus and Advertising Platform
An empty plastic bottle recycling apparatus and advertising platform (BRAAP) that is used to captively hold at least one, and preferably multiple, plastic beverage bottles and includes advertising or promotional indicia printed thereon. The BRAAP has a structure which is a strip, or an strip. The panel and strip can be resilient and disposable, and each have at least one, and typically multiple, openings that are each dimensioned to allow a bottle's neck to be inserted and maintained within, or removed from, the opening. When a bottle is inserted into an opening, the BRAAP with the retained bottle, can be stored or transported. When a bottle is pulled from an opening, the bottle neck is released, thereby allowing the bottle to be removed from the BRAAP. The advertising or promotional indicia includes a company name, a coupon, a sport team name, event information, commercial offers, entertainment information, or social media information.

WINDER
A winder includes a winding mechanism, a chamber housing the winding mechanism, at least one vacuum pump, and a product case. The winding mechanism is configured to wind a belt-shaped raw film around a winding core. The belt-shaped raw film is composed of a plurality of electrodes and a plurality of separating films. The at least one vacuum pump is configured to suck air into the chamber. The product case is configured to house a plurality of winding products each formed by winding the raw film with use of the winding mechanism disposed in the chamber.
DEFECT INSPECTION DEVICE, DEFECT INSPECTION METHOD, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SEPARATOR ROLL
To carry out accurate defect inspection over a wide area, a defect inspection device (1) includes: a radiation source section (2) configured to emit an electromagnetic wave (4) to a separator roll (10); and a sensor section (3) configured to detect the electromagnetic wave (4) that the radiation source section (2) has emitted to the separator roll (10), the sensor section (3) being configured to detect the electromagnetic wave (4) before and after the separator roll is moved relative to the radiation source section (2).
