PERSONAL CARE SYSTEM FOR ADDING A SENSOR FUNCTIONALITY TO THE SYSTEM
The invention is directed to a personal care system (100) configured to allow an addition of a sensor functionality to the system (100). The system (100) comprises a data reader (102) for receiving a code (200), and a programmable controller (104). The system (100) is configured for triggering a software reconfiguration of a software associated with at least one hardware component (106) of the system (100) based on the code (200) received by the data reader (102). The programmable controller (104) is configured for changing a control of the hardware component (106) of the system (100) based on the triggered software reconfiguration. The change of the control of the hardware component (106) of the system (100) causes an addition of a sensor functionality to the hardware component (106) of the system (100).
CLEANING DEVICE FOR TEETH
An oral insert includes a plurality of manifolds and a plurality of fluid nozzles. A manifold switch is coupled to the plurality of manifolds. The manifold switch is configured to select which of the plurality manifolds is to receive fluid from a fluid source.
COLLAPSIBLE TOOTHBRUSH AND CASE
Disclosed herein is a novel toothbrush design and associated carrying case. In one embodiment the toothbrush may have a handle cylindrical in shape, and may break down into three separable sections, each joinable at threaded joints. One element may be configured to receive a removable bristle assembly. In one embodiment, the toothbrush elements may each be stored in separate compartments in the carrying case. The carrying case may also include a slidably extendible drawer configured to dispense floss. The carrying case may also include separate compartments for storing consumables such as toothpaste tablets and mouthwash tablets.
Processes for forming fluoropolymer articles
The present invention relates to a process for producing a fluoropolymer article having a high surface roughness and high coarseness which comprises the following steps: a) forming a paste comprising a fluoropolymer into a paste-formed fluoropolymer product at a temperature lower than 50° C., b) densifying the paste-formed product, and c) stretching the densified paste-formed fluoropolymer product in at least one direction. The present invention further relates to a fluoropolymer article obtainable by a process according to the invention. The present invention furthermore relates to a fiber comprising, or consisting of, a fluoropolymer having a surface roughness expressed as a peak to valley distance (Rt) greater than 10 micrometer and/or an average surface roughness (Ra) greater than 1.5 micrometer. The present invention furthermore relates to a membrane comprising, or consisting of, a fluoropolymer having a coarseness index ρ/EBP of at least 0.3, an air permeability of 15 ft.sup.3/ft.sup.2/min or higher and a node aspect ratio of below 25.

DISPENSER FOR DISPOSABLE PRODUCTS
A refillable dispenser including a housing and a cover. The housing can include an internal cavity, an activation mechanism cavity separate from the internal cavity, and a multi-state actuator structured to alternate between compressed and extended positions. The internal cavity can be structured and configured to house individual products in a stacked orientation, and the activation mechanism cavity can house the multi-state actuator. The cover can include an open bottom and can fit over and around the housing. By pushing the cover down, the user activates the multi-state actuator and causes it to extend, which pushes the cover up and causes a bottom portion of the housing to be exposed so that the user can remove one product at a time. The dispenser can be mirrored about a vertical or horizontal plane to allow it to dispense from either end, thereby making the dispenser ambidextrous.
Dental floss member and dental floss holder
A dental floss member and a dental floss holder are disclosed. The dental floss member includes a linear type dental floss having a predetermined length, a first fixer disposed at one end of the dental floss, and a second fixer disposed at the other end of the dental floss. The dental floss holder includes a body having a first corresponding fixer to which the first fixer is fixed and a mounting part on which a section for use of the dental floss is mounted, and a second corresponding fixer disposed at the body and to which the second fixer is fixed.
