A smart dental hygiene that dispenses oral hygiene products including toothpaste, mouthwash, and dental floss is disclosed. The apparatus includes a casing comprising a first container for storing toothpaste, a second container for storing mouthwash, and the third container for storing dental floss. A first dispenser may be connected to the first container for enabling dispensing of toothpaste. A second dispenser may be connected to the second container for enabling dispensing of mouthwash. A third dispenser may be connected to the third container for enabling dispensing of dental floss. Furthermore, a microcontroller communicatively connected to the plurality of sensors is provided. The microcontroller may analyse the data collected by a plurality of sensors to determine a plurality of usage factors including quantity of toothpaste, mouthwash and dental floss dispensed during each dispensing action, amount of toothpaste, mouthwash and dental floss remaining in the containers, and the like.

The dental flosser comprises a base portion forming a handle and terminating at a distal head portion. A pair of spaced apart arms extend from the head portion, each of the spaced apart arms having a proximal first end adjoining the head portion and a distal second end. A length of dental floss extends between the distal second ends of the arms. A surface of at least one arm of the pair of arms defines a cavity between the first end and the second end forming a well for accommodating the composition. A hybrid dental tool is disclosed herein. The hybrid dental tool includes a flosser having a flossing head. The flossing head can include a filament stretching between the first arm and a second arm. The flossing head can include a pick receptacle. The hybrid dental tool can further include a pick that has a first end and a second end. The pick can be sized and shaped to fit within the pick receptacle such that the first and second ends are protected. The pick can releasably connect with the flossing head to allow the separation of the pick from the flossing head.

A dental floss holder and flosser is provided. The flosser provides a reusable dental device for cleaning between the user's teeth. The flosser comprises a casing, a pair of tines, and a floss advancement reel. A bundle of floss resides within the casing. A length of dental floss from the bundle of floss is fed through the casing and into the floss advancement reel. The length of dental floss is wrapped around the floss advancement reel. The length of dental floss is then strung taut along the pair of tines, forming a fresh segment of dental floss. The remaining length is routed and wrapped back to the floss advancement reel. A user can then rotate the floss advancement reel such that the segment of dental floss is replaced and ready for the next use.

A dental floss cartridge is disclosed. The cartridge includes a housing, a roll of dental floss comprising a polymer such that the dental floss has a first surface and a second surface, a floss exit opening in the housing through which the floss is configured to exit, a texture-inducing structure arranged within the housing and configured to impart texture onto at least one of the first and second surfaces of the dental floss prior to or during the dental floss passing through the floss exit opening, and a cutting device on an exterior of the housing configured to cut the dental floss into a desired length.

A water flosser having a processor controlled self-supporting coil driving a pump piston such that the flow rate, pressure, output wave form, pulse frequency, pulse duration and/or kinetic energy per pulse of the oral irrigator may be controlled by a user. A user's control input may be transmitted to the processor via a hydraulically transmitted signal from the water flosser handle or from a signal transmitted from a mobile device or by an audible command received by an audio input in communication with the processor or from manual inputs on the water flosser housing. Flow may be independently controlled at the handle.
