Media catchers
In an example, a media catcher may include a first frame member and a second frame member spaced away from the first frame member along a lateral direction, thereby defining a catcher width of the media catcher. Additionally, the media catcher may also include a device interface disposed at a top end of the first frame member or the second frame member. The device interface may attach the media catcher to an imaging device. The media catcher may further include a catch panel extending between the first frame member and the second frame member to catch and support media.

MEDIUM PLACEMENT DEVICE
A medium placement device configured to stack a plurality of sheets of a medium discharged from a discharge unit of a processing device, the medium placement device including a plurality of support units being provided in a width direction intersecting with a discharge direction of the medium, and being configured to support, on a support surface from below in a gravitational direction, the medium discharged from the discharge unit. The plurality of support units are provided extending in the discharge direction, and are inclined downward in a gravitational direction from upstream to downstream in the discharge direction, and a first support unit and a second support unit arranged at a lower position in the gravitational direction with respect to the first support unit as viewed in the width direction, the first support unit and the second support unit being arranged alternatingly in the width direction.

SHEET STACKER, SHEET LAMINATOR, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
A sheet stacker for use in a device including a stacker portion, a fence, and a guide face. The stacker portion includes a stacker face that is inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to a horizontal plane and receives a plurality of sheets ejected from above and stack the plurality of sheets on the stacker face. The fence includes an angled face to contact an end of the plurality of sheets stacked on the stacker face. The angled face rises in a direction in which the plurality of sheets is stacked, with respect to a lower side of the stacker face. The guide face guides the sheet conveyed along the lower side toward an outlet port to a lower end of the outlet port, the outlet port opening in an exterior of the device to remove the sheet to an outside of the device.
Financial device and medium stacking apparatus
A medium stacking apparatus comprises a stacking surface for stacking a medium; a first guide to guide the stacking of the medium in the case of stacking of the medium and to press the medium in the case of separating of the medium stacked on the stacking surface; and a second guide that is capable of supporting the medium stacked on the stacking surface, the first guide including a first plate, and a second plate that is rotatably connected to the first plate, the second plate being rotated about the first plate in the case of stacking of the medium, and a portion or all of the second plate being overlapped with the first plate in the case of separating of the medium.

ARRAY OF CARD MECHANISMS
A card mechanism used in an array with other card mechanisms. Each card mechanism handles plastic cards that are to be personalized and provided to end users. The plastic cards can be cards such as financial cards including credit and debit cards, identification cards, driver's licenses, and other plastic cards that are personalized. The card mechanism(s) can supply cards to be personalized in one or more other card mechanisms and/or in a card personalization machine used with the card mechanism(s) in which case the card mechanism(s) is configured as a card input hopper, collect cards that have been personalized in which case the card mechanism is configured as a card output hopper, and/or perform one or more personalization operations on the cards in which case the card mechanism is configured as a card personalization mechanism.
INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An information processing method performs steps for an information processing apparatus to communicate with an image forming apparatus having first and second sheet output sections. The second sheet output section can be switched between a close position to serve to guide a sheet to the first sheet output section, and an open position not to guide the sheet to the first sheet output section but to stack the sheet. The method inputs a type of sheet, acquires information indicating whether the second sheet output section is in an open or closed state, and transmits image information to the image forming apparatus. When the sheet type recommends the sheet be output to the second sheet output section and the second sheet output section is in the closed state, a message is output to prompt to switch the second sheet output section into the open position before the image information is transmitted.
