A postprocessing apparatus includes: a first postprocessing member that performs postprocessing on a recording medium; a second postprocessing member that differs from the first postprocessing member and performs postprocessing on the recording medium; a mounting base to which the first and second postprocessing members are mounted; a support plate having a guide member that guides movement of the mounting base; and a moving mechanism that moves the mounting base along the guide member.

A postprocessing apparatus includes: a first postprocessing member that performs postprocessing on a recording medium; a second postprocessing member that differs from the first postprocessing member and performs postprocessing on the recording medium; a mounting base to which the first and second postprocessing members are mounted; a support plate having a guide member that guides movement of the mounting base; and a moving mechanism that moves the mounting base along the guide member.

A post-processing device includes: a passage that extends in one direction; a post-processing section that is movable on a plane along the passage and that is stopped at plural post-processing positions, including a stop position determined in advance, to perform post-processing on a recording medium; and a positioning portion which is provided at the stop position and against which an end portion of the recording medium abuts when the post-processing section performs the post-processing at a post-processing position other than the stop position, the positioning portion being retracted with respect to the post-processing section when the post-processing section passes through the stop position or is moved toward the stop position.

A post-processing device includes: a passage that extends in one direction; a post-processing section that is movable on a plane along the passage and that is stopped at plural post-processing positions, including a stop position determined in advance, to perform post-processing on a recording medium; and a positioning portion which is provided at the stop position and against which an end portion of the recording medium abuts when the post-processing section performs the post-processing at a post-processing position other than the stop position, the positioning portion being retracted with respect to the post-processing section when the post-processing section passes through the stop position or is moved toward the stop position.

A medium processing apparatus includes an intermediate stacker on which media recorded by a recording apparatus are stacked, the recording apparatus including a liquid ejection head which performs recording by ejecting liquid to media and a maintenance apparatus which performs maintenance of the liquid ejection head, and a processor which executes a process on the media received by the intermediate stacker. The medium processing apparatus executes the process after a medium which is last recorded before the maintenance is stacked on the intermediate stacker.

A sheet processing device separates a two-ply sheet in which two sheets are overlapped and partially bonded and sandwich a sheet medium between the two sheets. The sheet processing device includes a relay conveyance path, a sheet loader, and control circuitry. The sheet medium is fed from an image forming apparatus connected upstream of the sheet processing device through the relay conveyance path. The sheet loader loads at least one of the two-ply sheet and the sheet medium. The control circuitry performs a mixing mode to feed the two-ply sheet or the sheet medium from the sheet loader.

A sheet processing device separates a two-ply sheet in which two sheets are overlapped and partially bonded and sandwich a sheet medium between the two sheets. The sheet processing device includes a relay conveyance path, a sheet loader, and control circuitry. The sheet medium is fed from an image forming apparatus connected upstream of the sheet processing device through the relay conveyance path. The sheet loader loads at least one of the two-ply sheet and the sheet medium. The control circuitry performs a mixing mode to feed the two-ply sheet or the sheet medium from the sheet loader.
