A filter unit for suction systems of dental equipment
A filter unit for a conventional suction system of dental equipment is proposed. It consists of a disposable filter and a connecting module fixed to the suction system. The connecting module removably connects the disposable filter to the system, and includesan inlet pipe passing a water flow and solid contents from the system,an outlet pipe returning the water flow into the system,a hole communicating with the inlet pipe,a pipe projection communicating with the outlet pipe, andfixing slots. The filter includesa container collecting the solid contents,a cover including inlet and outlet holes and provided with fixing projections removably engaged with the fixing slots, anda lock-fixer rotatably mounted within the cover. It allows for removable connecting the filter to the system, which significantly improves convenience of servicing the system, safety and sanitary protection of dental personnel.
DENTAL SUCTION ARRANGEMENT
A dental suction arrangement which removes saliva and other fluids from a person's oral cavity. The suction arrangement includes a suction tube and an absorption body to be placed in the oral cavity. The suction tube includes a suction part which is arranged in the absorption body and which is equipped with a hole organs or elements communicating with the absorption body. The suction arrangement is made of elastically deformable material in order to adapt to the anatomical shape of the bottom of the mouth.

ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH WITH CONTROLLED SUCTION AND IRRIGATION
A toothbrush for use by an operator and capable of being connected to a suction device and a syringe. The toothbrush includes a head, a handle, and a suction assembly. The head includes a plurality of bristles and an irrigation port configured to be in fluid communication with the syringe. The handle is coupled to the head and includes a user interface and a controller configured to actuate at least one of rotation, oscillation, and vibration of the plurality of bristles in response to feedback from the operator through the user interface. The suction assembly is coupled to one of the head and the handle and configured to be coupled to the suction device. The suction assembly includes a suction tip that is movable relative to the head.
Functionalized siloxane or polysiloxane coated particles with enhanced light filtering properties
A coated powder comprises (a) particles, and (b) a coating, on the surface of the particles. The surface coating comprises (1) optionally silica moieties, (2) organo oxysilane moieties selected from the group consisting of mono-organo oxysilane moieties, bi-organo oxysilane moieties and tri-organo oxysilane moieties, and (3) optionally organo-substituted polysiloxane moieties. The organo oxysilane moieties each have the formula R.sub.nSiO.sub.4-n, with n=1, 2 or 3, and each R group is independently selected from the group consisting of alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, esters, amides, and at least one aromatic moiety having an absorption band maximum in the region of 280 nm to 780 nm.
NON-INVASIVE DENTAL EQUPMENT MONITORING SYSTEM
A non-invasive dental or surgical monitoring system is disclosed. The monitoring system is comprised generally of dental or surgical equipment to be monitored, a main sensor unit, a set of sensors. The main sensor unit is in communication with various sensors removably attached to the equipment. The sensors monitor environment conditions related to the equipment rather than directly monitoring the equipment. The collected data is sent to the main sensor unit and can be accessed, or wirelessly transmitted by signal to a device or devices at another location. As collected data aggregates, a data profile can be created, machine learning can be used to discover patterns, and predictive analysis can be incorporated to help software make predictions of, or spot in real time, equipment problems based on deviations from the profile.

Saliva evacuator system and saliva evacuator tip assembly including a transverse on/off push valve
The present invention provides a saliva evacuator system for removing saliva, and optionally debris, from the mouth of a dental patient. The saliva evacuator system includes a vacuum pump, a flexible tubing connected at one end to the vacuum pump, and a tip assembly at the other end of the tubing, the tip assembly carrying a vacuum on/off valve. The on/off valve is positioned so that the on/off valve remains outside of the patient's mouth when the tip assembly is inserted into the patient's mouth. The on/off valve is a single-piece body push valve that is transversely movable within a hollow body of the tip assembly and is retained on the hollow by opposite ends of the on/off valve. One end of the on/off valve preferably clips onto the hollow body. The tip assembly can include a saliva ejector tip, a high-volume evacuator tip or a surgical high-volume evacuator tip.
Atraumatic High-Volume Dental Evacuation Tip
The embodiment provides a high-volume evacuation tip perforated with round shape apertures covered by vent shells with upgraded capability of capturing escaping saliva and surgical debris during dental operation, as well as its total mass flow capability with soft silicon rubber nozzle. The high-volume suction tip for dental procedures has a cylinder or tubular-shaped, having two open ends. Forward-facing end has a soft silicone rubber nozzle is round in shape reducing patient pain and discomfort due to contact of hard plastic suction with soft tissue of patient with several vertical milling cutters to improve maximum effectiveness of fluid absorption, preventing clogging a surgical aspirator and prevent traumatic absorption of the patient tongue. Posterior end has vertical cutting shape. The suction tip has increase impact force compare to similar suction tips without the plurality of apertures or with few of them.
DENTAL SPLATTER SHIELD WITH FLUIUD ABSORPTION AND LIGHT REFLECTION
A dental instrument is described. The dental instrument includes a shaft including a graspable end and a usable end. The dental instrument also includes a splatter shield. The splatter shield comprises a pliable sheet material having within the sheet material an aperture formed therethrough. The aperture is sized and shaped in a way to be frictionally and selectively coupled to the usable end of the shaft of the dental instrument.
