INSTRUMENT HANDLE WITH COMPONENT HOLDER
An instrument handle is provided. The instrument handle includes an elongated structure extending between a first end and a second end, the first end extending to a functional head component or is configured to couple to a removable functional head component, and the elongated structure is interrupted by a holding assembly having a through-hole configured to receive a solid object. The holding assembly can have one or more connectors configured to securably retain the solid object therein. A dental mirror including the instrument handle is also provided.
Mobile orthodontic treatment system and method
A mobile orthodontic treatment system includes comprising a mobile trailer and a panoramic machine provided within the trailer. The panoramic machine is configured to obtain a 2-D image of a patient's mouth and includes a base secured to the floor of the housing and a stanchion secured to the trailer by a bracket. The mobile orthodontic treatment system further includes a digital scanner and a monitor provided within the housing. The digital scanner is configured to obtain a 3-D image of the patient's mouth and display the image on the monitor. The digital scanner and the monitor are mounted on a wall of the housing by a wall mount articulating bracket. The mobile orthodontic treatment system further includes a lift assembly provided on one of a side and an end of the housing to enable disabled people to enter and exit the housing.
Lubrication information management device for dentistry
A lubrication information management device includes: a lubrication detector provided to a lubrication unit; an instrument wireless tag provided to an instrument; and a read-write unit which is either an antenna or a reader-writer. Moreover, the read-write unit communicates lubrication information to the instrument wireless tag when the lubrication detector detects any of lubrication of the instrument and an operation for lubrication. This makes it possible to reliably manage the lubrication of a dental instrument.
TREATMENT TOOL STERILIZER FOR DENTAL HOSPITAL WITH MICRO BUBBLE TYPE OZONE WATER SUPPLY AND STERILIZING METHOD USING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to a treatment tool sterilizer with a micro bubble type ozone water supply. The treatment tool sterilizer includes a sterilization tub configured to accommodate an object to be sterilized; a fresh water supply; an ozone water supply including a pressure pump configured to pressurize and transfer fresh water, an ozone generator, a mixer configured to mix fresh water and ozone, and a bubble generator connected to the mixer and configured to pass fresh water and ozone through the bubble generator so as to form micro bubbles; an ultrasonic generator; a drain; a heater mounted on the sterilization tub and configured to apply heat in the sterilization tub; and a controller configured to output a control signal.
Dental cleaner discharge guard systems and methods
Rotating dental systems and related guards and methods are disclosed. In some embodiments a guard is configured to prevent material from building up on at least a portion of the dental system. In some embodiments the guard is configured to prevent materials from being discharged from the dental system. In some embodiments, the guard is configured to direct the flow of material along a portion of the dental system. Some guards within the scope of this disclosure include bristles.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR LUBRICATING DYNAMIC INSTRUMENT HOLDERS
The invention relates to a device for lubricating a dynamic instrument holder (300), characterized in that it comprises a disposable lubricating set including: a container (100) containing a pre-dosed quantity of lubricant, said quantity corresponding to the quantity required for the lubrication of a single dynamic instrument holder (300); and a tubular end piece (200) preformed with a communicating hollow core (230) and comprising two ends, the first end (210) of said end piece (200) attaching to an open end of said dynamic instrument holder (300) in such a way as to allow the flow of a lubricant to the dynamic instrument holder (300), and the container being connected to the second end (220). The invention also relates to a method for lubricating dynamic instrument holders. The invention is applicable to the lubrication of surgical tools such as dynamic instrument holders.
Handpiece maintenance system and dental instruments for predictive maintenance
A handpiece maintenance system and method identifies a dental handpiece and operates in a diagnostic cycle to power the handpiece and determine predictive maintenance condition thereof. The handpiece maintenance system includes a temperature sensor and/or an acceleration sensor to measure the conditions of the handpiece during the diagnostic cycle. The predictive maintenance condition of the handpiece is based on data from the diagnostic cycle and other stored data for the identified handpiece. A system is also configured to determine a predictive maintenance condition of the handpiece based on sensor data read from a handpiece and historical usage data thereof.
PROCESS FOR PROVIDING A DENTAL ARTICLE
A process for providing a sterilized dental article, at least a portion of the surface of which exhibiting a contact angle of less than 45. The process includes the subsequent steps of a) providing a dental article and b) subjecting the initial dental article to a hydrogen peroxide plasma treatment. It is characterized in that the hydrogen peroxide plasma sterilization treatment of step b) is carried out in the presence of a carbon-containing compound, which during treatment is converted to form a carboxylic group attached to the surface of the dental article.
Dental appliance cleaning system with reduced cross contamination
A system for ultrasonic cleaning of dental appliances provides nested containers adapted to communicate ultrasonic energy therethrough to provide cleaning of a dental appliance contained within the innermost container using a standard ultrasound machine without cross-contamination with liquid from the main ultrasound bath.
Systems and method for protection of optical system of laser-based apparatus
In an apparatus for directing a laser beam to a dental treatment area, where the apparatus includes a hand piece having an optical subsystem including a turning mirror for directing a laser beam to a treatment area via an orifice of the hand piece, a fluid supply subsystem creates a fluid flow within the hand piece proximate the turning mirror so as to mitigate contamination thereof.
