Bobbin unwinding device of filament winding device
This bobbin unwinding device (32A (32B)) is provided with a bobbin support shaft (33) which rotatably supports a bobbin (B) around which a band-like fiber bundle (F) is wound, a fixed guide (35) which changes the running direction of the fiber bundle (F) unwound from the bobbin (B), and an auxiliary roller (34) arranged between the bobbin (B) and the fixed guide (35), wherein the fixed guide (35) is arranged such that the shaft center of the fixed guide (35) is substantially perpendicular to the shaft center of the bobbin support shaft (33), and the auxiliary roller (34) is arranged such that the shaft center of the auxiliary roller (34) is parallel or substantially parallel to the shaft center of the bobbin support shaft (33).
Method for laying multiple conductors in a container
A method for laying multiple conductors in a container may be provided. The method may comprise receiving the multiple conductors at a monitoring station; receiving the multiple conductors at a drive; and receiving the multiple conductors at the container.
Locking ring and packaging for dispensing wound material from a container
A locking ring is described that permits removal of filamentary material housed in a walled container through a payout tube defining a payout tube axis and through which a first end of the filamentary material extends. The ring includes an annular flange around a ring axis and a body having a tubular wall extending from an inner edge of the annular flange to a distal edge of the ring. The tubular wall is coaxial with the ring axis, and has a plurality of teeth circumferentially spaced around the tubular wall and extend from the tubular wall radially outwardly and toward the annular flange. Each tooth resiliently deflects radially inwardly in response to interference between the tooth and an inner wall of the payout tube. The curved edges form a thread permitting the ring to advance axially into and secure with the payout tube.

FLOATING FEED ASSIST UNIT FOR THE PAYOFF OF BULK PACKAGED WELDING WIRE
A feed assist unit (1) includes a base portion (2) having a plurality of ribs (16a-d) on a lower surface (18) thereof. A dome portion (4) is connected to the base portion (2), and a rotating conduit portion (6) has a curved shape and is coupled to the dome portion (4). Each of the ribs (16a-d) has a first end (20) adjacent to the dome portion (4) and a second end (22) adjacent an associated side (14) of the base portion (2). The feed assist unit (1) has first and second central axes (A-A, B-B) oriented perpendicular to each other. First and third of the ribs (16a, 16c) are oriented parallel to the second central axis (B-B) and the second and fourth of the ribs (16b, 16d) can be oriented parallel to the first central axis (A-A). The first and third ribs (16a, 16c) are offset from the second central axis (B-B) by an offset length (OL) and the second and fourth ribs (16b, 16d) are offset from the first central axis (A-A) the offset length (OL).
Method for feeding a supply station of a packaging unit with a new reel of sheet packaging material, sheet packaging material holder and lift truck
There is described a method for feeding a supply station (6) of a packaging unit (1) with a new reel (3a) of sheet packaging material, comprising the steps of releasably connecting a sheet packaging material holder (11) to a support structure (5); coupling an end portion (52) of new reel (3a) with holder (11) connected, in turn, to support structure (5); carrying out on end portion (52) at least an operation, which is preliminary for joining of end portion (52) to a first edge (53) of a terminated reel (3a′, 3b) previously connected to packaging unit (1); moving new reel (3) together with holder (11) from support structure (5) towards supply station (6); and releasably connecting a fixed part (12) of supply station (6) to holder (11) together with new reel (3a).
MODULAR SPOOL STORAGE DEVICE, MODULAR SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND COMBINATION THEREOF
A modular spool storage device is configured to store a length of line, which is configurable between an assembled operational configuration and a disassembled transport configuration. In the assembled operational configuration, the device includes a ring with a U-shaped cross-section. The ring includes multiple ring sections, each ring section having two end faces, each end face being provided with at least one ring connector allowing the assembly of the ring by interconnection of the ring connectors of the multiple ling sections in circumferential direction from the disassembled transport configuration to the assembled operational configuration. The dimensions of a ring section fit into or correspond to that of an ISO shipping container so as to be transportable as or by an ISO shipping container.
