APPARATUS, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DENTAL TREATMENTS
A device, method, and system are provided for aiding the whitening of teeth. The device includes a mouthpiece suitable for implementing a dental treatment, wherein the mouthpiece includes one or more stock elastomeric dental cover layers suitable for forming and maintaining a treatment cavity having a vacuum fluid seal, wherein the dental cover layers includes a layer over the upper teeth and surrounding gums and/or a layer over the lower teeth and surrounding gums, wherein each of the layers includes one or more hardened sections for enabling selected/differential collapsibility when exposed to vacuum pressure; and one or more treatment supply layers wherein the treatment supply layer incorporates a heating unit for heating treatment materials and one or more flow channels in fluid communication with the treatment cavity so that the treatment supply layer can deliver and/or remove one or more treatment fluids from the one or more fluid sealed treatment cavities.

An optical sensor for an instrument to form a closed-loop curing instrument that is configured to manage the quantity of delivered energy to a curable material, including a composite restoration for a tooth. The closed-loop curing instrument is configured to analyze a signal indicative of the light reflecting from the curable material, and to adjust light output based on the analysis.

A light curing impression system comprising a light emitting tray that precisely distributes an optimal amount of curing light energy to internal, external and extra oral portions of the dental arch to cure impression material. The light curing impression system generally includes an LED light source, a light emitting impression tray, an activation module and impression material.
Light transmissive dental matrix band and method of using the same
The light transmissive dental matrix band is a dental matrix band for use in combination with a photoreactive dental filling material. The light transmissive dental matrix band includes a plate having opposed upper and lower ends, with a vertical slot formed through the plate and extending from the upper end towards the lower end, with at least one horizontal slot formed through a central portion of the plate and in open communication with the vertical slot. A layer of optically transmissive material coats the upper end of the plate, and a volume of the optically transmissive material fills the vertical slot and the at least one horizontal slot. The volume of the optically transmissive material is in optical communication with the layer of optically transmissive material coated on the plate's upper end. A tab, for grasping by the dentist, may be secured to the upper end of the plate.
Device and method for moving cargo
A device and method for moving cargo above a floor inside an aircraft comprises a rigid under-floor. The device comprises a body part for supporting the weight of the cargo, lifting means and for lowering the body part from its lifted position into a retracted position, and a drive unit for moving the body part. The method comprises the steps of providing at least two devices in an aircraft, positioning the devices beneath the cargo, wherein the body parts of the devices are in their retracted positions. The body parts are lifted such that the weight of the cargo is supported by the body parts and the cargo is lifted above the floor. The cargo is then moved to a desired position and lowered into their retracted positions such that the cargo is lowered and the devices are moved away vertically from the cargo.

Process of tooth whitening and apparatus therefor
A process of whitening a tooth provided by the invention includes the steps of providing a delivery device for mechanical dispensing of a predetermined amount of a whitening composition to an applicator tip; dispensing the amount of whitening composition to the applicator tip; applying the amount of whitening composition disposed on the applicator tip to the tooth to be whitened; and allowing the whitening composition to remain in contact with the tooth for a period of time sufficient to whiten the tooth. Optionally, the process further includes the step of exposing the whitening composition to light. A gum or candy for tooth bleaching is detailed along with methods of use. A device adapted to dispense an amount of a dental whitening composition optionally includes a light source for activating the whitener.
FLASHLIGHT DEVICE FOR CURING LIGHT-CURABLE MATERIALS, METHOD AND SET
A set for at least one of gluing, bonding, modeling and repairing of an object. The set includes a pen-type housing with a first end, a second end, and a reservoir, a light-curable material arranged in the reservoir, and an LED lamp which emits a light having a wavelength or a spectrum of wavelengths at which the light-curable material is selectively cured. The LED lamp is coupled to the pen-type housing at the second end so that the light emitted by the LED lamp is only emitted in a direction which faces away from the first end. The reservoir has an exit opening which selectively discharges the light-curable material at the first end.
