AUTOMATIC AEROSEL AND DROPLET HYBRID SANTIZATION SYSTEM FOR DENTISTRY
One of the main problems of hoods and central ventilation devices for dental offices and clinics is the lack of fluid suction between the patient and the dentist during the spraying of the aerosol and droplet. This disclosure provides a solution to build a new device using technologies that follow the principles of ergonomics in designing and using the calculated discharge system to limit the movement of the aerosol and the droplet. This device proposes an isolation process whereby fluid transfer, along with the contaminated particles attached to the negative ions, are trapped in the chamber and transfer to the filter due, to prevent diffusion to the environment. This device also utilizes and control of optimal parameters of heat and light and negative ions, ultraviolet and ozone to sterilize and eliminate viruses and bacteria.
Electronic apparatus capable of air pollution reduction
An electronic apparatus capable of air pollution reduction includes an operating tool and an airflow device. The airflow device is located adjacent to the operating tool, and has a shell with one or more opening holes distributed thereon for air to flow in or out.
DENTAL RESTORATION HOLDING DEVICES, DENTAL RESTORATION HOLDING ASSEMBLIES INCLUDING THE SAME, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Dental restoration holding devices, dental restoration holding assemblies including the same, and associated methods. A dental restoration holding device includes a base portion and a cap portion, and is configured such that the base portion and/or the cap portion engages a flexible support sheet to define a support surface that supports a dental restoration relative to a suction tip. A dental restoration holding assembly for supporting a dental restoration includes the dental restoration holding device in combination with the flexible support sheet and the suction tip. A method of treating a dental restoration includes operatively engaging a flexible support sheet with a dental restoration holding device to define a support surface, placing a dental restoration upon the support surface, engaging a suction tip with the dental restoration holding device, and flowing a treatment fluid through the dental restoration holding device.
Method for polishing artificial tooth and device for polishing artificial tooth
An artificial tooth 30 to be polished is fixed at a tooth neck 32 side and rotated about a tooth axis 33. Abrasives, preferably elastic abrasives formed by kneading abrasive grains into or supporting abrasive grains on an elastic material, are ejected together with a compressed gas at an ejection pressure of from 0.1 MPa to 0.5 MPa onto an occlusal portion 31 side of the artificial tooth 30 while the artificial tooth 30 is being rotated. The abrasives are ejected at an inclination angle with respect to the tooth axis 33 of the artificial tooth 30 of from 0 to 90, and preferably from 15 to 75. Portions on the occlusal portion 31 and side surfaces 38 of the artificial tooth 30 are thereby polished at the same time by the abrasive sliding over these portions.
HANDHELD SANDBLASTING DUST COLLECTOR
Handheld dust collector (or disposable dust cabinet) for sandblasting small objects, such as extraoral sandblasting of dental devices. The apparatus may comprise a bag with an open, resealable end. An access panel on the bag allows a user to insert their fingers into the bag, such as with integrated finger cots. A filter may be provided to allow air to escape from the bag. Methods of treatment are disclosed.
DEVICE FOR TRIMMING A DENTAL SPLINT
A device for trimming a dental splint (1) comprises a spatially movable holder (2) for the dental splint (1), a suction device (3), a laser (4) and a computation unit (5). In a device of the aforementioned kind that can be used with a minimum of control complexity and preparation for the user to precisely trim dental splints despite the use of conventional components, the laser (4) is stationary, a camera (6) for determining the position of the dental splint (1) is provided, and the holder (2) comprises a platform (7) at least portions of which are thermostable and a stop (8) for the force-locked and play-free mounting of the dental splint (1), which is free from a deep-drawing mold.
AEROSOL REMOVAL SYSTEM
Systems and methods for removing aerosolized particles from a treatment zone may be employed with dental, medical or veterinarian procedures. An exemplary system may include a hood and corresponding evacuation system that creates a negative-pressure current that draws aerosolized particles away from a treatment zone and into the evacuation system. Such an exemplary system may also include an air curtain generator that creates a curtain comprising streams of pressurized air around the treatment site that may help to direct aerosolized particles into the hood and evacuation system and prevent many such aerosolized particles from escaping the curtain.
Dental operatory protection table
A protective apparatus for use in medical and dental procedures to prevent exposure and exchange of harmful substances between an area isolated by the apparatus and the environment of use. The apparatus includes a physical shield, a vacuum barrier, and an adjustable support frame. The apparatus further includes a vacuum connector for connecting the apparatus to a vacuum source, a vacuum conduit for flow communicating with the air around the perimeter of the physical shield such that the vacuum source draws air along with solid and liquid matter entrained in the air into the vacuum conduit, and a plurality of vacuum apertures located along the vacuum conduit for communicating the vacuum source with the air. The apparatus provides protection for persons in proximity to a source of harmful substances such as aerosols derived from patients infected with viruses or the like and more in particular corona viruses.
