Oral irrigator with handle support

An oral irrigator is provided. The oral irrigator may include a base unit defining a recess, a reservoir supported by the base unit, a handle support attached to the base unit above the recess, an oral irrigator handle supported by the handle support, and a tube attached to the handle and in fluid communication with the reservoir and the handle such that fluid from the reservoir flows through the tube into the handle. The tube may include a coiled portion that is received in the recess defined by the base unit when the handle is supported by the handle support.

ELECTRONIC CONTAINMENT SYSTEM FOR STORING AND CHARGING AN INSTRUMENTED INTRA-ORAL APPLIANCE, AND TRANSMITTING DATA THEREFROM
20220287636 · 2022-09-15 · ·

The present invention is a holding case for an instrumented intra-oral appliance containing recorded data, which charges the intra-oral appliance while not in use and transmits recorded data to storage for review and analysis. The transferred data may be subjected to downloading, validation, storage, analysis, measuring, database fusion (with for example data from other devices), data output, and data recording. Output may be further transferred to a computer, processor, phone, tablet computer, or other hardware for review by a user or technical, research, medical, or other oversight personnel. The holding case can also send data to the appliance including firmware or other onboard operating instructions. The holding case can include additional features such as custom dentition of the user, UV light, or a visual user interface.

Instrument cassette for handling instruments
11433156 · 2022-09-06 ·

An instrument cassette (100) for handling instruments (111) comprises support structures (101) for mechanically supporting the instruments (111), and a shielding structure (102, 103) for containing operational portions (112) of the instruments (111) so that a risk of unintentional touching the operational portions (112) is reduced. At least one wall (104) of the shielding structure (103) comprises channels (105) for allowing liquid and gaseous substances to flow through the wall. The substances may comprise for example hot vapor used in an autoclaving sterilization process. The channels (105) are shaped to prevent the operational portions (112) of the instruments (111) from protruding through the wall (104) via the channels (105). Thus, there is no need for a high number of very small channels which may be difficult to manufacture in a cost effective way.

Dental milling blank for the production of permanent indirect restorations and computer-aided process for producing the permanent indirect restorations

A dental milling blank for the production of permanent indirect restorations in the CAD/CAM process, characterized in that it has a water sorption WSP of less than/equal to 18 μg/mm.sup.3, measured according to ISO 4049 and an E modulus E greater than/equal to 13 GPa, measured according to the ADA specification No. 27 and a quotient Q of WSP/E of less than 1.35 μg/(GPa×mm.sup.3) and consists of the polymerization product of a radically curable dental composition, which comprises a) inorganic fillers, wherein the total mass of the inorganic fillers is at least 83 wt. %, based on the total mass of the composition, b) radically polymerizable monomers, c) one or more initiators for radically curing.

Arrangements for remote orthodontic treatment

Systems and methods of remote orthodontic treatment include receiving a plurality of images from a customer where the plurality of images represent teeth of the customer, receiving a first approval from a staff computing device where the first approval is indicative of a staff user approving the plurality of images for assessment by a dental professional, receiving a second approval from a provider computing device where the second approval is indicative of the provider approving a fitness of the customer for treatment, generating, in response to receiving the second approval, a treatment plan including a series of steps to reposition at least one tooth of the teeth of the customer, and manufacturing one or more aligners based at least in part on the treatment plan where the aligners are specific to the customer and are configured to reposition the at least one tooth of the teeth of the customer.
