A system for forming glass rolls is provided. The system includes a glass ribbon supply system configured to supply a glass ribbon, a cutting system configured to cut the glass ribbon to a first portion and a second portion, a first glass winding system configured to wind the first portion of the glass ribbon to form a first glass roll, and a second glass winding system configured to wind the second portion of the glass ribbon to form a second glass roll.

A packaging dispenser for bend-resistant items. In some embodiments, the dispenser includes a container storing bags of cables in an alternating folded pattern. In some embodiments, a vertically floating dispensing guide guides the bags through a slot in the container. The dispensing guide is configured and arranged to limit over-bending of the items as the items are dispensed through the slot and to stabilize the folded pattern.

A tape applicator head is described. The tape applicator head includes an applicator roller for applying a strip of tape to a workpiece positioned on a flatbed of an apparatus such as a flatbed digital cutter. A support of the tape applicator head supports a tape roll. A plurality of guides are each configured for guiding a different tape width. The tape applicator head includes a guide mount configured for removably mounting a selected one of the plurality of guides. The mounted guide is positioned to guide tape from the tape roll to the applicator roller.

A paper sheet processing device includes: an ejection roller for ejecting a paper sheet; and a bill press for pressing the paper sheet against the ejection roller, wherein the bill press has: a bill press main body that moves in a direction to approach and separate from the ejection roller; a pressing portion that is provided on the ejection roller side of the bill press main body and moves in a direction to approach and separate from the bill press main body; and an elastic portion provided between the pressing portion and the bill press main body.

A sheet feeding device feeds a sheet in a feed direction. The sheet feeding device includes a loading portion, a feeler, and a first detection sensor. The sheet is to be placed on the loading portion. The feeler rotates from a reference position to a pushed position around a support shaft in response to a push by a downstream end of the sheet, which is placed on the loading portion, in the feeding direction. The first detection sensor detects a rotation of the feeler from one of the reference position and the pushed position to the other of the reference position and the pushed position. The loading portion includes a second detection sensor to detect a state in which the sheet is placed on the loading portion.

A rubber composition for a paper feed roll contains at least a polymer component and a softener, has a 30% Mod (−40° C.) of less than or equal to 0.94 MPa, the 30% Mod (−40° C.) representing a modulus in 30% elongation at −40° C., and has an E1 (22° C.)/number of parts by mass of softener of greater than or equal to 0.008 MPa/phr, the E1 (22° C.)/number of parts by mass of softener representing a value of a dynamic modulus of elasticity at 22° C. E1 (22° C.) in temperature variance measurement of dynamic viscoelasticity, divided by the number of parts by mass of the softener relative to 100 parts by mass of the polymer component. These configurations provide a rubber composition for a paper feed roll and a paper feed roll that are excellent in maintainability of a coefficient of friction and wear resistance.

The present invention relates to a film wrinkle removing roller in which pattern rolls coated with rubber are positioned at both ends of a cylindrical roll made of Teflon, and a porous film comes into contact with the roll and the pattern rolls, such that the film may be prevented from wrinkling and a surface of the film may be prevented from being abraded due to friction between the film and surfaces of the rolls.

A sheet conveyer, including a first guide with a guide surface, a second guide arranged on a side of the guide surface toward one end in a widthwise direction, a first roller arranged upstream in a conveying direction from the second guide to rotate about a first axis extending in parallel with the widthwise direction, a second roller arranged downstream in the conveying direction from the first roller to rotate about a second axis inclined with respect to the widthwise direction, and a third roller arranged downstream in the conveying direction from the second roller at a position on a side of the guide surface toward the other end in the widthwise direction outside a widthwise length of the sheet, is provided. The third roller is configured to rotate about a third axis inclined with respect to the widthwise direction.

A printing apparatus configured to print a label image on a medium, the medium on which the label image is printed including: a first end which is an upstream end of a tail region in a conveyance direction that is one of first printing regions in which one first character is lastly printed; and a second end which is an upstream end of a tail character in the conveyance direction that is the most upstream one of second characters printed in a second printing region, and wherein a controller is configured to cause a cutter to cut the medium at a first cutting target position located upstream of the first end when the first end is located more upstream than the second end and at a second cutting target position located upstream of the second end when the second end is located more upstream than the first end.

A paper sheet processing device includes: an ejection roller for ejecting a paper sheet; and a bill press for pressing the paper sheet against the ejection roller, wherein the bill press has: a bill press main body that moves in a direction to approach and separate from the ejection roller; a pressing portion that is provided on the ejection roller side of the bill press main body and moves in a direction to approach and separate from the bill press main body; and an elastic portion provided between the pressing portion and the bill press main body.
