AUTOMATED CORDLESS SYRINGE
A device for delivering fluid includes a housing having a proximal end configured to receive a fluid source and a distal end configured to receive a treatment tip. In its interior, the housing includes at least a first fluid line in fluid communication with the fluid source and with the treatment tip, at least a first pump in-line with the first fluid line and configured to urge fluid from the fluid source to the treatment tip, control circuitry in electrical communication with the pump, and a power source configured to supply continuous output power to deliver the fluid to the treatment tip, the power source being in electrical communication with the control circuitry. The housing further is provided with user-operable controls and operation monitors.
Ceramic structure for dental application, process and its uses
The present disclosure relates to a ceramic structure for dental application, preferably dental restoration, process for obtaining it and its uses. The process now disclosed comprises computer-controlled machining (CNC), particularly by milling, to obtain a ceramic structure, for example dental covers, which reach thicknesses between 0.05 and 0.4 millimeters.
Dental color key
A dental color key having at least two different color patterns or samples with different tooth colors. The entire surface area of the color key (10) may be smaller than the buccal and/or labial surface area, that is to say the vestibular surface area of two teeth, and the color patterns or samples (12) are attached adjacent to one another and particularly mounted to one single tooth.
METHOD OF COLORING DENTAL BLOCK AND DENTAL BLOCK
In a method of coloring a dental block by which a coloring liquid penetrates into the dental block including a top surface, a bottom surface, and a side surface, the method includes covering at least a portion of the side surface with a covering material over an entire circumference of the portion, exposing the top surface and the bottom surface, and causing the coloring liquid to penetrate from the top surface or the bottom surface.
Dental block forming a blank for a partial prosthesis, dental partial prosthesis and method of manufacturing a dental partial prosthesis
The present invention relates to a dental blank, in particular a parallelepipedal block, having an upper surface and a lower surface, which is composed of a flesh-coloured material and a tooth-coloured material. The flesh-coloured material and the tooth-coloured material are bonded together. The interface between the materials with elevations and depressions formed in or at the interface extends through an optionally curved plane, which plane is parallel to or oblique to at least a portion of the surfaces of the blank.
Uncured pontic material for orthodontic clear aligners or retainers
The present disclosure is generally directed toward a pontic material that is pliable and easily moldable, possesses a higher tear resistance to resist fragmenting and thus is long lasting, can be pigmented to achieve a good color match to adjacent teeth, and be fashioned into a pontic by the patient at home so as to free the orthodontist and their staff from having to do this purely aesthetic and time-consuming procedure. In addition, the pontic material of the present disclosure is typically permanently pliable so that an untrained person such as a patient would have unlimited time to make corrections to the shape of the material to obtain an aesthetically pleasing shape and typically do so without the use of tools or any specialized tools or equipment.
Dental stone powder and fiber reinforced dental stone comprising the same
Fibers, for example fiberglass fibers, are added to dental stone powders to provide for reinforced dental stones. Dental stones are made by combining dry components, including binder and fiber glass, adding water to the resulting mixture and setting the mixture in a dental mold. The dental stones are reinforced by the fibers, and allow for reduced breaking or chipping during handling.
Method of manufacturing a zirconium dioxide green body with color and translucency gradients
The invention relates to a method of manufacturing a ceramic molding, comprising the following steps: a) providing three or more ceramic powder layers that are arranged in layers, one on top of the other, to form a compression-molded element and sintering the compression-molded element obtained in step b) to form a ceramic molding, characterized in that the ceramic powder layers have different compositions, each ceramic powder layer comprising a mixture of at least two different base powders and each base powder containing at least 80 wt. % ZrO.sub.2 and at least 0.02 wt. % Al.sub.2O.sub.3, each weight amount being relative to the total weight of the constituents of the base powder.
Generating teeth images colored based on teeth depth
Embodiments include receiving image data comprising a representation of teeth, wherein the image data comprises a set of pixel locations for the teeth and depth values associated with the pixel locations in the set of pixel locations. The method further includes generating new image based on applying one or more functions to the image data, wherein the one or more functions adjust one or more color channels of the set of pixel locations based at least in part on the depth values.
SCREW RETAINED ABUTMENT WITH OFF-AXIS FEATURE AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME
An abutment is provided with a screw access hole and a slot in its sidewall adapted to allow a driver to access a screw in the screw access hole at an angle relative to a longitudinal axis of the screw. The abutment may include a screw seat and may be connected to an implant via a screw in the screw seat. A prosthesis, which may include a driver access channel that has a diameter less than the outer diameter of the drive portion of the screw, may be placed over the abutment. Methods of making a dental prosthesis and methods of attaching and removing the dental prosthesis from the implant are also disclosed.
