The gardening kit is a collection of tools configured for use in the weeding of agricultural plots such as gardens. Each component contained within the gardening kit is configured for use without requiring the gardener to bend over during weeding. The gardening kit comprises a weeding device and a clipping collector. The weeding device is a bladed device that is worn in the manner of a boot. The weeding device is used in the manner of a hoe to either: 1) cut directly through unwanted growth; 2) agitate the soil in a manner that cuts the existing unwanted growth from their roots; or, 3) remove or otherwise dig out old roots from the soil. Once the clippings and other debris have been accumulated via the weeding device the clipping collector is used to pick up and dispose of the accumulated clippings.

In another form, the apparatus includes a handpiece having a power source, motor, and a drive system operatively connected between the motor and the shaft to perform a variety of tasks such as tilling, hole digging, and/or weed removal.

Systems and methods for using interchangeable tool attachments in multi-use tools. In one embodiment, a multi-use tool includes a motor, a shaft and a shaft adapter at the end of the shaft. The motor has user controls (e.g., on/off switch or throttle) that control the motor to drive the shaft and cause it to rotate. The shaft may include a rigid tubular outer member with a flexible inner shaft. The shaft adapter is coupled to the end of the rotating portion of the shaft. The shaft adapter has a mounting flange that rotates with the adapter at the end of the shaft. An interchangeable tool attachment is secured to the mounting flange, and rotation of the shaft adapter and mounting flange causes the tool attachment to rotate as well. Many different tool attachments can be interchangeably secured to the mounting flange to provide corresponding, different functions to the tool.

A gardening tool may have a handle coupled to a head by way of a connector. The head may comprise a detachable, double-edged blade having a plurality of spikes. The head may include a second blade with a plurality of prongs of varying lengths. The smaller size of the gardening tool relative to many conventional tools may improve efficiency for the use, transportation, and storage of the tools.

A gardening tool may have a handle coupled to a head by way of a connector. The head may comprise a detachable, double-edged blade having a plurality of spikes. The head may include a second blade with a plurality of prongs of varying lengths. The smaller size of the gardening tool relative to many conventional tools may improve efficiency for the use, transportation, and storage of the tools.

A multipurpose planting hand tool includes a handle provided for a user to hold, and a hook member fixed into the handle by a root portion of a rod body and extended from the front of the handle to a distance and bent into an arc to form a hook-shaped hand tool portion. A flat deformation occurs at a position where the hook member is bent into the hand tool portion, and sawteeth are formed at an inner curved edge. Both sides of an outer curved edge are extended upwardly and focused into a small arc to form a blade-like portion, and its front is tapered to form a sharp tip. The sawteeth, the blade-like portion and the sharp tip are provided to facilitate the work of collecting and removing weeds and fallen leaves after the operations of loosening soil, weeding, sweeping leaves and removing weeds.
