Tissue-removing catheter including urging mechanism
09532797 · 2017-01-03 · ·

A tissue-removing catheter includes an elongate catheter body. The catheter body has a jogged portion that applies an urge force against a body lumen wall and urges a portion of the catheter body toward a portion of the body lumen wall. A tissue-removing element removes tissue from the body lumen during the cutting operation. The tissue-removing element is located generally adjacent the portion of the catheter body that is urged toward the body lumen wall by the jogged portion. An urging mechanism selectively applies a compressive load to the catheter body to adjust the bending stiffness of the jogged portion and the urge force applied by the jogged portion.

The conveying device is disposed on the frame, and is configured to support and convey a chick frame. The spray device is provided on the frame and includes two rows of spray heads provided along the conveying direction perpendicular to the conveying device, the two rows of spray heads are provided side by side above the conveying device. The two liquid supply devices are provided on the frame. The two liquid supply devices are respectively connected to the two rows of spray heads in a one-to-one correspondence, and each of the liquid supply devices is configured to provide the spray device with vaccine suspension liquid.

Injection systems with rotating needle carriage and methods

Injection systems and methods of using the same are described herein. Each injection system may include one, two, or more needles, with each needle being configured to move needle between an injection position and a retracted position to deliver an inoculant. The injection needles may rotate about a carriage axis that extends through the injection axis along which each needle moves when moving between their injection and retracted positions. The injection needles in systems that include two or more injection needles may be advanced from the retracted position to the injection position at the same or different times.

Method and apparatus for delivering fluid droplets onto an open and stationary tray
12408633 · 2025-09-09 · ·

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for delivering droplets of fluids onto an open tray containing poultry, the tray being stationary. According to the invention, the method comprises the following steps: (a) a movable arm is moved over the tray in translation in a first direction, said arm supporting a first set of dispensing nozzles and a second set of dispensing nozzles, said nozzles of each set being arranged to cover the entire dimension of the tray in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; (b) initially, droplets of at least one first fluid are dispensed by spraying using the first set of dispensing nozzles; (c) and then at least one second fluid, distinct from said at least one first fluid to be sprayed, is dispensed by ejecting individual drops by means of the second set of dispensing nozzles.
