A rotator arrangement (10) comprising a motor (11) with a stator (13) and a rotor (12) arranged inside the stator (13) to rotate with respect to said stator (13) around an axial axis (A). The rotator arrangement (10) comprises a rotor attachment piece (15) connected to the rotor and a stator attachment piece (16) connected to the stator, wherein one of the rotor attachment piece (15) and stator attachment piece (16) is arranged to be attached to a crane arm or the like, and the other is arranged to be attached to a tool implement. An angle meter (17) is arranged to continuously monitor the rotation of the rotor (12) with respect to the stator (13), wherein the angle meter (17) comprises a stator part (18) that is arranged to rotate with the stator (13) a rotor part (19) that is arranged to rotate with the rotor (14), and wherein the angle meter (17) is arranged along the axial axis (A).
Truck Mounted Vacuum Material Handler and Quick Disconnect
A truck-mounted vacuum material handler and quick disconnect for use on a truck with a with a boom for handling plate steel. The handler includes a coupler [32] that has a boom connector [44], a removable carrier [36, 38] with a carrier connector [60], and a base [34] located between the boom connector and the removable carrier. A locking mechanism [66] located in the base is arranged to move between an unlocked position and a locked position relative to the carrier connector. In the unlocked position the carrier connector is removable from the base. In the locked position the carrier connector is secured in the opening and opposing face surfaces [48, 50, 62] of the base and removable carrier are mated to one another. The removable carrier may include a rotator-receiving recess [42] or a rigging hardware eyelet [40] arranged opposite the carrier connector.
LINK MEMBER FOR CONNECTION OF A GRIPPING ASSEMBLY TO A HYDRAULIC CRANE ARM WITH INTEGRATED DYNAMIC WEIGHING ASSEMBLY
A link member of a gripping assembly, which is suitable for weighing of each load during reloading, may include a rotatable gripping assembly or similar appliance mounted on the arm of a hydraulic crane, which is suitable for mounting onto a motor vehicle and then for manipulating with each load, the weight of which can be measuring during said manipulating. The link member may be provided by modifying a known link member, which is generally used for attachment of each gripping assembly, together with a rotator, to each crane arm, such that in addition to the attachment of the gripping assembly the link member may enable weighing of each load during each manipulating therewith by means of the crane and each gripping assembly, wherein the determining of each weight of the load may be performed precisely and accurately despite to movement and rotation of the load.
Pipe make/break vise assembly with pipe joint heater
Systems, apparatus and methods are described where a heater is arranged adjacent to a pipe make/break vise assembly to heat a female tool joint of two pipe sections connected by threads to facilitate breaking or disconnection of the joint. The heater can have any configuration or can be used in any manner to result in even heating around the circumference of the female tool joint. In addition, the heater can be incorporated into the same apparatus as the make/break vise assembly, or the heater can be an apparatus that is separate from the apparatus containing the make/break vise assembly. In one embodiment, the heater can be used as a stand-alone heater to heat the female tool joint.
ROTATOR ARRANGEMENT WITH AN ANGLE METER
GRABBING DEVICE
A grabbing device having a plurality of jaws which can be moved between an open position and a closed position to enable the device to grasp an object(s). The technology finds particular application in the forestry industry and moving logs.
