CRANE CONTROL METHOD, AND CRANE
There is provided a crane control method whereby shaking of a load can be suppressed when automatically transporting the load along a set transport path using a crane; and a crane that is controllable by this control method. The control method includes: calculating a target transport time (Ti) of a load (W), transported by a crane (1), in a section defined by two passing points adjacent in a passing order; calculating, from a distance between the passing points and the target transport time (Ti), a target speed signal of the load (W) in the section; converting a stepped target speed signal, which connects the target speed signal of the section and a target speed signal of another section adjacent to the section, to a non-stepped target speed signal using a target value filter (F); and carrying out control on the basis of the non-stepped target speed signal.
Crane and crane control method
The invention addresses the problem of providing a crane and a crane control method that can suppress load swaying when controlling an actuator on the basis of the load. The invention is provided with a turntable camera (7b) that detects the current position coordinates p(n) of a load W with respect to a reference position, wherein the invention: converts a target speed signal Vd to target position coordinates p(n+1) of the load W with respect to the reference position; calculates the current position coordinates q(n) of a boom (9) with respect to the reference position from a turning angle θz(n), a hoisting angle θx(n), and an extension/contraction length lb(n); calculates a feed amount l of the wire rope and the directional vector e(n) of the wire rope from the current position coordinates p(n) of the load W and the current position coordinates (n) of the boom (9); calculates the target position coordinates q(n+1) of the boom (9) with regards to the target position coordinates (n+1) of the load W from the feed amount l and the directional vector e(n) of the wire rope; and generates an actuator operation signal Md on the basis of the target position coordinates q(n+1) of the boom (9).
CRANE HAVING A CRANE CONTROLLER
A crane, in particular a loading crane, includes an arm system that has a plurality of arms. The crane also has a crane controller that is configured, in a coordinate control operating mode, to control the coordinates of the arm system. The crane controller has a user interface, and the user interface has at least one function which can be selected by a user and by way of which at least one of the degrees of freedom of the arm system can be restricted or is restricted in the coordinate control operating mode.

Lightweight flexible tensioning system for construction equipment
Components and systems for a flexible tensioning member for construction equipment. A tensioning member is comprised of a fiber having a specific tensile strength greater than 1,000 kilonewton meters per kilogram. The tensioning member connects two components and has an attachment allowing the tensioning member to flex relative to a component. The attachment may provide a system for connecting multiple tensioning members.

Telescoping crane and related methods
Implementations of cranes may include a first telescoping boom and a second telescoping boom coupled within the first telescoping boom. The second telescoping boom may be entirely within the first telescoping boom when the second telescoping boom is in a fully extended position.
PORTABLE CRANE AND CANTILEVERED BASE SYSTEM
The focus of the present disclosure is on portable cranes and cantilevered base systems. In particular, portable cranes and cantilevered base systems which are lightweight, easy-to-operate, safe, inexpensive, and have extended reaches with high-load capacities would be advantageous for a variety of applications. A cantilevered support to a pivotable arm that is provided by the present disclosure provides advantages when compared to other portable cranes, such as the ability to: 1) extend an arm and reach of a crane, 2) increase a load that can be lifted or lowered, 3) operate a portable crane and cantilevered base system freestanding without attaching a base to a floor, surface, or bed of a vehicle, and 4) augment the structural capacity of a portable crane and cantilevered base with mechanical devices to support a variety of applications.
