SYSTEM FOR APPLYING A FLUID TO A CHAIN OR CABLE
The present invention provides a system for applying an anti-corrosion fluid to an anchor chain or cable. The system may include at least one set of nozzles disposed on the inner periphery of a conduit. Furthermore, at least one flap may be disposed on the inner periphery of a conduit, below the nozzles, for catching and smearing the fluid on the cable. Additionally, the invention may contain a reducer, attached to the bottom of the conduit, that may contain a flap, for catching the excess fluid and smearing the fluid on the cable.
DEVICE FOR LOCKING AN OBJECT SUSPENDED ON A CABLE
A device for locking an object suspended from a cable passing through a clamp and extending along a substantially vertical axis, the clamp includes a fixed part, at least two moving jaws, a first actuator and a second actuator, the two jaws coming into contact with the cable to immobilize the cable by clamping in a closed position and moving away from the cable in an open position, the fixed part having as many inclined surfaces as there are jaws, each of the jaws being configured to slide along one of the inclined surfaces so as to pass from the open position to the closed position, the first actuator being configured to move the jaws upward, make them slide along their respective inclined surface and allow the clamp to close, the second actuator being configured to pull downward on the cable with respect to the fixed part and allow the clamp to open.
IMPACTOR APPARATUS OPERATED FROM ROTORCRAFT
An impactor apparatus for use with a rotorcraft, comprises a reeling apparatus adapted to be transported by the rotorcraft, reeling apparatus including at least a spool, an actuation system for rotating a spool in a winding direction, and a brake system for braking a rotation of the drum. A cable is wound onto the spool. An impactor mass is attached to a free end of the cable. A release of the brake system causes a drop of the impactor mass by gravity, from a loaded condition, the actuating system subsequently rotating the spool to wind the cable onto the spool to put the impactor mass in a loaded condition.
Rescue hoist cable angle exceedance detection arrangement
A cable angle exceedance detection arrangement is provided. The cable angle exceedance detection arrangement may include a housing having an aperture extending therethrough defining an axis, the aperture being configured to allow a cable to extend through the housing from a first end of the housing, wherein the cable is aligned with the axis, to a second end of the housing. The cable angle exceedance detection arrangement may include a detection member coupled to the housing and configured to be contacted by the cable when a fleet angle defined between the axis and the cable at the second end of the housing exceeds a selected value.

Overhead storage device
An overhead storage device comprising a cable pulley; a constant torque spring unit attached to the cable pulley and adapted to apply an approximately constant torque to the cable pulley; a cable partially wound around the cable pulley and having an attachment mechanism at one end of the cable; and a locking mechanism; comprising a pawl, a release cord attached the pawl and a ratchet unit; adapted to permit the attachment mechanism and an attached load to be lowered and locked at any desired position within the range of the device. The device is particularly suited for storing items, such as bicycles, golf clubs and yard equipment that are commonly stored in garages.
Remote controlled lift assembly
A remote controlled lift assembly includes a pair of supports is each mountable to a respective outrigger of scaffolding. A winch unit is positionable on the supports when the supports are mounted on the scaffolding and the winch unit has a cable extending downwardly therefrom. The cable is lowered or lifted when the winch is actuated. A receiver is coupled to the winch unit and the receiver is in electrical communication with the winch unit. A remote control is provided that is carried by a user and the remote control is in wireless electrical communication with the receiver. In this way the user can remotely lift and lower the cable for lifting and lowering cargo.
TOY RETRIEVAL APPARATUS
A toy retrieval apparatus wherein the present invention is configured to facilitate retrieval of a fallen toy or similar object subsequent a child sitting in the rear seat of a vehicle dropping the toy and a passenger in the front seat can utilize the present invention to retrieve the toy. The toy retrieval apparatus includes a housing wherein the housing has a spring loaded winding member disposed in the interior volume thereof. The spring loaded winding member has a cord member secured thereto. The cord member has attached to the distal end an attachment member. The attachment member of the present invention is formed to releasably secure to a toy through either adherence to the outer cover of the attachment member or being secured with finger members of the attachment member. The attachment member includes a malleable metal structural insert member that provides bending of the finger members.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR WINCH LIGHTING
A winch drum light assembly comprises a bracket having at least one attachment location for attaching the bracket to a vehicle or to a vehicle component that is attached to the vehicle; and a light member for producing light and situated on the bracket, the light member including a power connection adapted for connecting the vehicle's power or an alternative source of power to the light member.
Easily changeable assembly type power winch
An easily changeable assembly type power winch includes a power source, a deceleration device, an outer casing, a rope wheel, a first support frame and a second support frame. After the power winch and two cross plates are assembled to form a basic assembly, a rope outlet board and an electric control box are assembled with the basic assembly to form the power winch in a horizontal assembly mode or an upright assembly mode, and these two assembly modes can be switched quickly to achieve the effects of reducing the manufacturing cost, improving the convenience of assembling, and broadening the scope of application.
