Hoist fleet assembly
Described herein is a hoist fleet system including a head block and a guide fleet assembly. The head block includes a plurality sheaves having more than one diameter. The guide fleet assembly can be arranged proximate the head block such that an array of lift lines can be routed through the plurality of sheaves of the head block into the guide fleet assembly. The guide fleet assembly further includes a plurality of guide sheaves and a plurality of plates. The plurality of plates is configured to house the plurality of guide sheaves. The plurality of guide sheaves is positioned substantially orthogonal to the head block. The plurality of plates is further arranged such that the plurality of guide sheaves is arranged on more than one plane. The plurality of guide sheaves is configured to reduce the spacing of the lift lines.
Rotational hoisting device
The invention disclosed is a rotational hoisting device that is mounted into the top opening of a mast pole located on a cellular network tower. The hoisting device is connected to a third party block and tackle and hoist line that is connected to a piece of cellular network equipment such as an antenna or radio. The rotational hoisting device can rotate back and forth in the mast pole to achieve mounting of the cellular equipment on a particular position on the mast pole without ever having disconnect the cellular equipment from the hoist lie.

Pulley Mount
A pulley mount is provided. The device includes a crossbar having a pair of support arms extending from a front side of the crossbar, wherein the pair of support arms are disposed at an angle such that a distance between a distal end of each support arm is less than a distance between a proximal end of each support arm. A pulley is rotatably affixed between the distal ends of each support arm. A brace support extends from a lower side of each of the pair of support arms, wherein a brace extends perpendicularly between the brace supports. In some embodiments, the brace support is telescopically adjustable in length. A recess is disposed within the crossbar. A plurality of teeth extends from each lateral side of the recess.
HOISTING AND LOWERING DEVICE
A device, system and method are used for hoisting and lowering a load. The device has a front plate that may be displaced to reveal a sheave. The device also has a friction accessory. The friction accessory is arranged to create friction between a rope and the device when a load is suspended from the device using the rope and where the device is secured to a support structure. The system may be prepared by an operator, having ascended to an elevated location, and further allows the operator to lower the load from the elevated location prior to descending.

Lifting crane with a system for automated determination of the reeving
A lifting crane having a jib and a lifting device with double reeving configured to distribute and lift a load along the jib, wherein the lifting device is reversibly configurable between two reeving configurations including a single reeving configuration with two lifting strands and a double reeving configuration with four lifting strands. The lifting device includes a reeving change system for performing a reeving change between the single reeving configuration and the double reeving configuration, and vice versa. The lifting crane further includes a system for automated determination of the reeving configured to automatically determine the reeving configuration between the single reeving configuration and the double reeving configuration.
Method and system for mitigating cable wear in a hoisting system
A method for mitigating the effects of cable wear in an active heave compensated hoisting system of an offshore vessel in a locked to bottom mode of operation is disclosed. The method comprises supporting an upper end of a string which is connected to a subsea well from a travelling block of the hoisting system, wherein the travelling block is suspended from a crown block via a cable. The method further comprises operating an active heave compensation system to control a drawworks of the hoisting system to pay in and out the cable to compensate for motion of the offshore vessel and maintain a target overpull in the string. The method further comprises adjusting a ballast system of the offshore vessel to vary the draft of the vessel, and controlling the drawworks in accordance with the variation in the draft of the vessel to cause a length of cable to slip through the hoisting system and maintain the target overpull in the string.
