MACHINERY POSITIONING APPARATUS HAVING INDEPENDENT DRIVE COLUMNS
Provided is a system and method for positioning a load including an apparatus having a plurality of columns. Each column has a first support and a motor adapted to move the first support along an axis of the column. A second support is connected to at least two of the first supports and a track member for receiving a portion of a vehicle is connected to the second support. Load and position sensors are coupled to the apparatus for transmitting load and position signals. A controller is in communication with the columns and receives the load and position signals to compare the load and position signals to generate at least one control signal that is sent to at least one of said motors for controlling the position of at least one of said first supports.

Device for parking vehicles
A device for parking vehicles includes a platform a synchronization traction element on each side on the platform. One end of each traction element is fixed in a first region of the platform, and another end of each traction element is fixed in an opposite second region of the platform. Each traction element has a first part in the first region of the platform, a second part along the platform, and a third part in the second region of the platform. Each traction element is guided by a roller, and the rollers are connected by a synchronization shaft.

POOL PROTECTION SYSTEM
Pool protection systems are disclosed. In one particular embodiment, a pool protection system may include a platform fitted in a pool, oriented substantially parallel to a surface of water in the pool, and configured to move vertically in the pool; one or more motors mechanically connected to the platform; and a controller in communication with the one or more motors.
TILTABLE VEHICLE LIFT
A vehicle lift includes a lift platform which can be selectively moved in a range between one or more raised positions which are level from the front to the rear and a lowered position where the lift platform is tilted for loading and unloading. A vehicle may be supported on the lift platform. The vehicle lift may be arranged in a trailer.
Scissor arm lift assembly and method of operating the same
A lift assembly including a platform movable to a raised position, a lowered position, and an intermediate position between the raised and lowered positions. A scissor arm system defines a cavity beneath the platform. The scissor arm system includes a pair of scissor arms pivotably connected to each other. The scissor arm system has opposed first and second ends with the first ends of the scissor arm system being coupled to the platform. A stanchion guides the platform between the raised and lowered positions. The stanchion extends from a first stanchion end to a second stanchion end above the first stanchion end. A drive mechanism is mounted to the platform to move with the platform. A flexible member is coupled to the stanchion and the drive mechanism. The drive mechanism winds and unwinds the flexible member to move the platform between the raised and lowered positions.
