PUNCTURE DEVICE TO OPEN VACUUM JARS
The present invention provides a lid puncture device having a hemispheric main body, a resilient compressible component, a flexible magnetic disk, and a piercing pin. The hemispheric main body has a domed surface and a flat surface. The flat surface of the main body has a recessed region surrounding a central pillar. The resilient compressible component is housed within and attached to the recessed region of the hemispheric main body. The flexible magnetic disk is attached to the resilient compressible component. The piercing pin is attached to the hemispheric main body and held axially within the central pillar. A process of opening a vacuum-packed jar with the lid puncture device is also provided. The process includes placing the flexible magnetic disk of the lid puncture device onto a lid of the vacuum-packed jar and striking the domed surface.
POD OPENER
A pod opener includes an elevating mechanism elevating the cassette in a vertical direction, a first hook member engaging with an engagement means of the cassette and supporting the cassette, a second hook member supported by the first hook member, a forward and backward movement mechanism moving the first hook member and the second hook member forward and backward with respect to the cassette, an urging member urging the second hook member upward, and an atmosphere maintaining device maintaining an internal space having the cassette disposed therein in a predetermined atmosphere and the second hook member is displaceable with respect to the first hook member.

Device for opening containers for liquids and for holding the corresponding lids
A device for opening, or re-closing, and holding lids of containers, each provided with an oblong spout, comprises a removal head of the pneumatic type which has a through housing channel which develops along an axis and in which the spout is at least partly housed, and a holding member, associated to the removal head, to cooperate with the spout. The holding member is actuated pneumatically to define at least a reversible condition of holding the spout inside the housing channel and comprises elastically deformable means which laterally delimit the housing channel. The elastically deformable means are configured to be deformed elastically by means of a fluid under pressure, so as to selectively define a reduction in section of the housing channel suitable to hold the spout.

OPENER FOR EASY-OPEN CANS
An opener for opening easy-open cans includes a handle having an extension extending from the first end thereof, and a bottle opening portion formed on the second of the handle. The extension has a lug extending from each of two sides thereof. Each lug has a slot defined therethrough. A plate includes a pivotal portion formed on the first end thereof, and an insertion on the second end thereof. The pivotal portion is pivotably connected between the two lugs. The plate has a protrusion extending from each of two sides of the first end thereof so as to be engaged with the slots of the two lugs when the plate is pivoted toward the handle. The insertion is inserted into the gap between the ring and the top of the can to easily pull the ring-pull.
