The innovation described herein generally pertains to a pod processing device. The pod processing device includes a top plate having a first aperture, and a cutting plate having a top surface and a bottom surface. The cutting plate can be attached to the top plate such that the cutting plate is spaced a distance from the top plate. The cutting plate can include at least one cutting blade extending at an angle from the top surface of the cutting plate along a portion of the distance towards the top plate. The pod processing device can be used to remove the lid from a pod to facilitate composting of the contents of the pod.

A package opening assembly comprising a package opening device and a securing housing, the package opening devise comprises a gripping portion and at least a cutting portion, and the package opening device is detachably integrated within the securing housing and wherein the securing housing is configured for attaching over a surface portion of a package.

A bag cutter for opening a sealed package using at least one of a blade and a piercer. Preferably, at least one blade is disposed partially within a cutout of an arm in a manner that exposes an edge of the blade. A piercer can comprise an extension of a cutout edge or be located on any other suitable portion of an arm. Another blade can be provided that is substantially perpendicular to the blade within a cutout, and juxtaposable against a cutting surface.

An elastic coupling assembly comprises a first brake gear, a second brake gear, a coupling, a plurality of elastic bodies, a plurality of first protrusions, at least two second protrusions; wherein, the plurality of first protrusions is arranged on a surface of the first brake gear which faces the second brake gear; the at least two second protrusions are arranged at intervals on the surface of the coupling which faces the first brake gear; each second protrusion has a notch, each first protrusion is clamped between two adjacent second protrusions; when the first brake gear rotates in one direction, each first protrusion comes into contact with the corresponding elastic body, when the first brake gear rotates in the other direction, each first protrusion comes into contact with the second protrusion opposite to the corresponding elastic body. The present invention further comprises an elastic can opener having the elastic coupling assembly.

A multifunction money clip includes a first plate and a second plate connected to the first plate via a plurality of connectors at the corners of the first and second plate, the first and second plate forming an internal area. The multifunction money clip further includes a plurality of tools each rotationally connected to the first and second plate via one of the plurality of connectors, the plurality of tools located in the internal area when retracted. The multifunction money clip further includes a double clip located on the first plate, a first portion of the double clip opening in a first direction and configured to trap items between the first plate and the clip and a second portion of the double clip opening in a second direction, opposite the first direction, and configured to trap items between the second clip portion and the first clip portion. A small clip is included opposite the double clip to attach to a pocket.

A lock-blade knife for cooking purposes comprises a housing, a blade pivotally attached to the housing and a locking mechanism. The blade is rotatable relative to the housing between a closed position and a least one cutting position. The locking mechanism is configured to lock the blade in the at least one cutting position. The locking mechanism comprises a biasing member, an engagement structure, and a grasping member. The engagement structure is disposed on the blade, and the grasping member is displaceable from a locking position into a releasing position. The grasping member is biased into the releasing position. The grasping member is in engagement with the engagement structure in the locking position when cutting to lock the blade in position. The blade is rotatable between the cutting position and the closed position when the grasping member is manually displaced into the releasing position.

A can opener. The can opener includes a housing having a closed upper end and an open lower end, forming an interior volume therein. The interior volume is dimensioned to fit a can therein. A handle is affixed to an exterior surface of the housing. A knob is affixed to the closed upper end and is connected to a plurality of blades affixed to an interior surface of the housing. The plurality of blades can move between an extended position and a retracted position when the knob is actuated. A linear distance between a distal end of each of the plurality of blades and the interior surface is greater when the blades are in the extended position.

A kitchen utensil or tool that includes a cutter, a hook, and a squeegee and that is particularly usable for interaction with bulk single use bags. The utensil is defined by a generally elongate body such that the hook and the cutter are oriented at a common end thereof. The body defines a handle that is associated with the opposite longitudinal end portion of the body. The body includes a slot that extends in the longitudinal direction such that the squeegee is defined by portions of the body adjacent the slot. An open end of the slot is disposed proximate the handle such that, during emptying of an opened bag, the hand of the user associated with the handle can support a cantilevered portion of the body that defines one of the sides of the squeegee.
