Beverage container identification and dispensing control
A system and method for dispensing beverage from a container, such as wine from a wine bottle. An identification element may be secured to a beverage container and include a tag and optically readable code that uniquely identify the container. A dispenser may dispense beverage from a container, and be able to read the tag of the identification element. Information regarding characteristics of beverage in the beverage container may be associated with a corresponding identification element and include a brand, type, vintage or volume of beverage in the container.
O-ring retaining apparatus for a bar gun
A system and method of using an O-ring retaining apparatus to maintain an O-ring in the same position relative to the position of the handle of a bar gun while permitting a valve stem in physical contact with the O-ring to slide past without the O-ring becoming dislodged.
RE-FILLABLE DRINKING CONTAINER FOR USE WITH A WATER-DISPENSING SYSTEM
The refillable drinking container for use with a water-dispensing system. The refillable drinking container for use with a water-dispensing system stores a fluid that is consumed as a beverage. The refillable drinking container for use with a water-dispensing system measures the stored fluid. The refillable drinking container for use with a water-dispensing system refills the fluid when the volume of the stored fluid falls below a previously determined level. The refillable drinking container for use with a water-dispensing system heats the stored fluid at a previously determined temperature.
Beverage dispensing machines and backblocks thereof
A backblock includes a body with a cavity connected to an inlet and an outlet. A spindle is positioned with a first end within the cavity and a second end with a tab exterior of the body. A latching plate is configured for translative movement relative to the body. The latching plate includes a keyhole with a bore and a channel. The bore is dimensioned to receive the spindle and the channel is dimensioned to receive the tab. The latching plate has a first latch position proximate to the body and a second latch position spaced apart from the body. When the tab is in alignment with the channel, the latching plate can translate to the second latch position about the tab. When the tab is out of alignment with the channel, the tab retains the latching plate in the first latch position.
VALVE ASSEMBLY AND FLUID ARRANGEMENT FOR CONTINUOUS DELIVERY OF VOLUMETRICALLY PROPORTIONED FLUIDS
A fluid arrangement (10) for continuous delivery of volumetrically proportioned gases or like fluids includes a valve assembly (11) and a volumetric fluid storage bank (143), which has first and second sets (144, 151) of fluid storage chambers (145, 148, 152, 155). The valve assembly (11) alternately supplies a consumer with a blend of gases from the first set (144) of fluid storage chambers while charging the second set (151) of fluid storage chambers from pressurized gas sources (158, 159), and, upon a threshold depletion of gases from the first set (144) of chambers, supplies the consumer with a blend of gases from the second set (151) of fluid storage chambers while charging the first set (144) of fluid storage chambers from the gas sources (158, 159). The valve assembly (11) again supplies mixed gases from the first set (144) of chambers while charging the second set (151) of chambers.
Systems and methods for wirelessly detecting a sold-out state for beverage dispensers
A detection device for detecting that a source is sold-out for a beverage dispenser, the beverage dispenser dispensing from the source via a valve controlled by a solenoid. A circuit board is configured to be positioned on the valve proximal to the solenoid. A detector is coupled to the circuit board, where the solenoid creates a magnetic field when dispensing from the valve, and where the detector detects the magnetic field created by the solenoid and consequently produces an electrical output. A control system is coupled to the circuit board in communication with the detector. The control system is configured to access threshold data and to compare the electrical output of the detector to the threshold data. The control system indicates that the source is sold-out based upon the comparison of the electrical output to the threshold data.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF SELECTING OPERATIONS FOR A DISPENSER BASED ON PATH OF TRAVEL
An example of a beverage dispenser includes a nozzle and a valve coupled upstream of the nozzle. A sensor is operable to detect an object within a detection zone and provide a signal representative of a distance between the object and the sensor. A controller is configured to receive the signal from the sensor. The controller is configured to determine a sub-zone from a plurality of sub-zones within the detection zone in which the object is located. The valve is controlled between an open condition to dispense the substance through the nozzle and a closed condition based upon the determined sub-zone.
SCALABLE MODULAR SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STORING, PRESERVING,MANAGING, AND SELECTIVELY DISPENSING BEVERAGES
An example system includes an incompressible, airtight pressurized container operable to maintain a pressure level in an internal pressurized environment, a transport system including at least two liquid transport conduits, and a mixing component, the two liquid conduits each being releasably coupled to a pressurized container interface coupled to the pressurized container and a dispensing interface, each liquid transport conduit including a controllable valve to enable or disable a flow of the liquid volume, the pressurized container interface capable of maintaining the pressure level, the mixing component being coupled to the at least two liquid transport conduits and the dispensing interface, a pressure regulation system connected to the pressurized container, the pressure regulation system operable to exert and maintain the pressure level within the pressurized container to enable compression of the first compressible liquid volume, and a control system operable to control the controllable valves and the pressure regulation system.
EFFERVESCENT LIQUID DISPENSER
An effervescent liquid dispenser for a carbonated beverage is disclosed that includes a container containing liquid a pressurized liquid, the pressurized liquid becoming an effervescent liquid upon being dispensed from the container; and a dispense valve that is positionable in a first position for permitting pressurized gas to be received in a vessel, the dispense valve selectably movable between the first position and a second position, the dispense valve being secured to the container in the second position; wherein the container complies with 27 C.F.R. 5.46 (2017) and conforms with 49 C.F.R. 173.306 (2017); wherein the dispense valve further comprises a cap which is rotated about an axis to engage a retention feature that prevents the cap from being removed from the dispenser.
Regulable pressure relief valve for a draft beer fresh-keeping keg
The present invention discloses a regulable pressure relief valve for a draft beer fresh-keeping keg, comprising a valve body housing, a first compression spring, a mushroom-shaped ejector rod, a second compression spring and a pressure exerting block. Said first compression spring, ejector rod, second compression spring and pressure exerting block are coaxially distributed; the ejector rod comprises a retractable rod and a mushroom head; the first compression spring is put on the retractable rod and the two ends of the first compression spring is stressed between the bottom of the mushroom head and the valve body housing; the two ends of the second compression spring is stressed between the top of the mushroom head and the pressure exerting block; a pressure regulation at the top of the retractable rod is realized by exerting a pressure on the pressure exerting block and thus realize the pressure regulation function.
