DISPENSING MANDREL
The invention relates to a dispensing mandrel (1) for dispensing material from a flexible bulk goods container, the dispensing mandrel (1) comprising a hollow body (2) which has an upper and a lower opening surface. A tip adjoins the upper end of the hollow body (2), leaving the upper opening of the hollow body (2) at least partially free. The tip is formed by at least three struts (3) which are planar, radially oriented elements which each abut the inner face (16) of the hollow body (2) with the lower outer edge (15) thereof, and meet at the upper end of the dispensing mandrel (1), thereby forming a tip. At least one transverse strut (12), which abuts against the hollow body (2) with the lower edge (13) thereof, projects from each strut (3).
FILLING HEADS
A filling head, which includes: A filling head housing for conveying operating fluid in a supply sense from a supply-intake region, which is configured for introducing operating fluid into the filling head, to an outlet port, A venting structure which allows the conveying of gas in a venting sense which is opposite to the supply sense,
Where the supply-intake region exhibits a hollow plug-in connector extending along a virtual nozzle path with a plug-in orifice through which an intake space connected fluid-mechanically with the outlet port is accessible,
Where an inner nozzle wall bordering the intake space exhibits functional formations projecting into the intake space as part of the venting structure,
Where on the external side of the plug-in connectors there is provided an active formation which is configured to interact with an internal thread of a supply device for the latter's positional stabilization at the plug-in connector.
The filling head provides that the active formation reaches along the nozzle path up to a main body of the filling head housing, from which the plug-in connector projects.
VENTED SPOUT FOR A LIQUID STORAGE CONTAINER
The vented pouring spout includes a main body and a valve system movable between a normally closed position and a fully opened position. The main body includes a first member and a second member. The valve system includes a valve member and two spaced-apart and parallel stems projecting from an inner side of the valve member into the first member. A push button is mounted within a housing and is in an axial force-transmitting engagement with the stems. The spout, among other things, can include a child-resistant closure (CRC) device that can be operated using a single finger, for instance the thumb or any other finger, and while holding a small container.
SPOUT ASSEMBLY FOR A PUMP
A transfer pump includes a drive module having electronic components and a fluid module not including electronic components. The drive module provides motive power to a pump of the fluid module to power pumping by the fluid module. The transfer pump further includes a spout extending mounted to an outlet connector of the fluid module by an inlet end of the spout interfacing with an outlet end of the outlet connector. The spout is repositionable relative to the outlet connector while mounted to the outlet connector.
PUMP CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A transfer pump includes a drive module having electronic components and a fluid module not including electronic components. The drive module provides motive power to a pump of the fluid module to power pumping by the fluid module. A control module is configured to monitor operation of the transfer pump and control pumping by the transfer pump. The control module is configured to receive dosing commands from a user interface, recall a dosing parameter based on the dosing command, and cause the drive module to operate the fluid module based on the dosing parameter to cause the transfer pump to output a set volume of material.
TRANSFER PUMP
A transfer pump includes a drive module having electronic components and a fluid module not including electronic components. The drive module provides motive power to a pump of the fluid module to power pumping by the fluid module.
Pouring spout guard and drinking aid
A novel flexible pouring spout guard that can be removably affixed to glasses, mugs, tumblers or other similar vessels used for holding beverages and other liquids and employed in pouring or drinking from such vessel, or in transferring liquids out of such vessel and into a bottle or other container, is described.
Liquid Fuel Spout Assemblies
Disclosed herein are spout assemblies including a spout assembly for pouring liquid fuel, which spout assembly may include a valve body, a valve stem, and a nozzle, in which: the valve body may include: an air flow housing defining an air flow path; a liquid flow housing defining a liquid flow path; and a valve stem housing that includes a valve stem wall defining a valve stem path, the valve stem wall may include: a liquid port capable of liquid communication with the liquid flow path; and an air port capable of fluid communication with the air flow path; the valve stem may be disposed in the valve stem path, and may include: a first stem flange capable of inhibiting air flow from the air flow path to the valve stem path; a second stem flange capable of inhibiting liquid flow from the liquid flow path to the valve stem path; and the nozzle may be coupled to the valve body.
TRANSPORT VESSEL FILLING APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Transport vessel filling systems, methods and apparatus are described. Some embodiments include liquid fill nozzle assemblies. Some liquid fill nozzle assemblies are in fluid communication with a sprayfill standpipe. Some liquid fill nozzle assemblies include a plurality of liquid fill nozzle assemblies configured to extend to on one or both lateral sides of a vessel.
Spout for a refill container
A spout for a refill container having an outlet opening for communicating with an interior volume, a lid for sealing the outlet opening against a fluid located therein, wherein the lid is removable relative to the base part for unsealing the outlet opening, a nozzle for being inserted into an inlet opening of a bottle, wherein the nozzle is relative moveable to the base part between a closing position, and a pouring position, where the nozzle is positioned close to the base part, a flexible element, connected to the base part and the nozzle for providing a fluid connection of the nozzle with the outlet opening of the base part and a pusher removable relative to the base part by means of the nozzle, wherein the pusher pushes the lid away from the outlet opening in the pouring position of the nozzle for unsealing the outlet opening.
