AUTOMATED TRENCH MANUFACTURING AND ASSEMBLY FOR ATTACHING TRIM COVERS TO A CUSHION ASSEMBLY
Cushions, methods, and manufacturing systems for making the same are disclosed. The cushions may be foamless such as being made from a body of entangled and/or intertwined polymeric strands. The manufacturing systems may include a die such as die bars having a plurality of orifices that cooperate with a plurality of receptacles and actuators for discharging a plurality of fasteners from the receptacles, through the die into the cushions. In a refinement, the die may be heated such that a skinned over membrane is created in the cushion to retain the plurality of fasteners. A trim cover may cooperate with the plurality of fasteners such that it is attached to the cushion.

Crip and Cord
A clip has an engagement portion including: a first arm with a first claw at the top end side; a second arm with a second claw at the top end side; and a bottom provided at the respective base end sides of the first arm and the second arm. Projections of the first claw and the second claw defines a left-right width of a mouth. A third claw projects into the retaining space at a position closer to the base end of the first arm, and a fourth claw is provided which projects into the retaining space at a position closer to the base end of the second arm. The third claw is narrower than the first claw in their widths along a front-back direction orthogonal to the depth direction of the retaining space extending from the mouth to the bottom and the left-right width direction of the mouth.

Recessed seam structure for cover
A recessed seam structure for a cover (3) that improves workability when forming a recessed seam (A) and allows frequent attachment and detachment at the recessed seam (A) is provided. In a seat (1) having the recessed seam (A) formed by pulling part of the cover (3) toward a side of a cushion material (2), the recessed seam (A) is provided with an opening and closing fastener (30) configured to couple the cover (3) and the cushion material (2), and the opening and closing fastener (30) includes a first fastener half (31) fixed to a back face of the cover (3) and a second fastener half (32) fixed to the cushion material (2). In such a seat (1), the recessed seam (A) can be formed easily and reliably on the seat (1) by aligning an end of the first fastener half (31) in a longitudinal direction and an end of the second fastener half (32) in the longitudinal direction of the opening and closing fastener (30) and simply sliding a slider (33).
ARMREST ASSEMBLY AND UNITARY ARMREST SUBASSEMBLY HAVING A SUPPORT SUBSTRATE AND RESILIENT WEB SECURED TOGETHER BY MECHANICAL FASTENING FEATURE
An armrest assembly includes a unitary armrest subassembly having a support substrate and a resilient web secured together by a mechanical fastening feature. The armrest subassembly also includes a cushion overlying the resilient web and a coverstock concealing the cushion and the resilient web and enclosing the receiver in the unitary armrest subassembly that holds those components.
