MODULAR APPARATUS FOR COLLECTING CANNABIS TRICHOMES
A modular apparatus and device for collecting cannabis trichomes includes a collection base that can receive either a standard filter adapter or a nested array of filter baskets on the top thereof. A riser adapter may be located between the collection base and the standard sieve/filter adapter or between the collection base and a nested array of filter baskets. The components are secured using a mounting tab and fastener configuration for ease of installation and disassembly. A vibrator may also be secured to the collection base. The locking tabs of each of the nested array of baskets are configured to have a length so tabs that are vertically stacked over each other co-terminate with each other so they can be secured to a riser adapter or collection base using a single fastener.
Process for making a water soluble, full spectrum hemp oil
A powdered, water-soluble Full Spectrum Hemp Oil is formed using organic materials and natural products to form a non-GMO, fast acting, whole plant hemp extract without harsh chemicals such as hexane. The Full Spectrum Hemp Oil may be extracted using CO2 concurrent gas extraction to avoid use of chemical additives.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EXTRACTING BOTANICAL OILS
Various aspects of this patent document relate to a method to extract an oil from a plant material using an apparatus by first exposing the plant material to a heated gas stream at a temperature sufficient to volatilize the oil from the plant material, and then rapidly cooling the gas stream to liquefy the oil.
Extraction of botanical material using high-pressure hydrocarbons
An apparatus and method for extraction of oils from botanical material using high-pressure hydrocarbons such as propane, or butane, or mixtures thereof are described. A high-pressure propane or butane saturated liquid/vapor mixture formed by pressure reduction through a valve placed before an extraction column, thereby serving as an expansion port was employed. The apparatus is capable of both continuous liquid extraction or batch-style liquid operation through the use of a manifold valve, which directs the solvent liquid/vapor in the system to either a supply tank or an extraction column.
OILSEED PROCESSING USING ALCOHOLS OR NONPOLAR SOLVENTS
A method of oi seed processing in which an extraction solvent comprising ethyl alcohol is applied in the process of oil extraction. Solvents of similar effect to that of ethyl alcohol may be used in conjunction to produce the desired result. Such a production method yields oil with substantially greater o l stability. As a result of oil extraction and processing, the subsequent meal is of increased palatability for animal and human consumption. Through such extraction and processing methods oil and meal are free of residue and undesirable characteristics commonly associated with other traditional methods of oil extraction.
STEVIOL GLYCOSIDE MALONIC ACID ESTERS
Various embodiments disclosed relate to steviol glycoside malonic acid esters (SGMAs). The present invention provides one or more SGMAs or salts thereof, compositions including the one or more SGMAs or salts thereof, and methods of forming a composition that includes one or more steviol glycoside malonic acid esters (SGMAs) or salts thereof. A composition including one or more SGMAs or salts thereof can be a sweetener or a sweetened composition such as a beverage concentrate, a sweetened beverage, a carbonated soft drink, a solid food stuff, a pharmaceutical composition, a nutritional supplement, or a dental composition.
EXTRACTION METHOD AND MIXTURE OF SUBSTANCES
A method for extraction, in which an extraction agent is used for dissolving at least one extraction material out of a substance. The extraction agent includes fatty acid ethyl ester and/or fatty acid methyl ester. In one embodiment the extraction agent is an omega-3 and/or omega-6 fatty acid, preferably EPA, DHA, DPA, ETA, 21:5n3 and/or SDA. In one embodiment the extraction agent includes at least 500 mg/g, preferably at least 700 mg/g of the fatty acid ethyl ester and/or of the fatty acid methyl ester. Expediently, the mixture of substances is a plant material, preferably hemp, and the extraction material is a cannabinoid, preferably CBD and/or THC.
REDUCING SURFACE AND BULK CONTAMINATION IN PLASTIC
The present invention generally relates to a method of reducing contamination from plastics. The resulting purer plastic can be used in demanding applications.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PURIFIED CANNABACEAE BIOMASS EXTRACT
The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a purified cannabaceae biomass extract, wherein a crude alcoholic cannabaceae biomass extract comprising at least two cannabinoid compounds in an alcoholic solvent is circulating through a powdered layer of activated carbon and the purified cannabaceae biomass extract is recovered with a ratio of cannabinoid compounds in the purified cannabaceae biomass extract is higher than the ratio of the cannabinoid compounds in the crude alcoholic cannabaceae biomass extract.
Calcium hydroxide nanoparticles synthesized with carob pulp extract
Calcium hydroxide nanoparticles (Ca(OH).sub.2NPs) synthesized using carob pulp extract may be hexagonal nanoparticles with a diameter ranging from about 31.22 nm to about 81.22 nm. The Ca(OH).sub.2NPs may be synthesized by heating ethylene glycol, adding calcium hydroxide to the ethylene glycol to provide a first mixture, heating the first mixture, adding a carob pulp aqueous extract to the first mixture to form a second mixture, heating the second mixture, adding sodium hydroxide (NaOH) to the second mixture to form a third mixture, heating the third mixture, resting the third mixture at room temperature after heating, centrifuging the third mixture, collecting a colloid sediment, extracting any unwanted contaminants from the colloid sediment, and drying the colloid sediment to obtain Ca(OH).sub.2NPs.
