CONTAINER-TYPE APPARATUS WITH A SUSPENDED PARTICLE SYSTEM FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT

A container-type apparatus for wastewater treatment with a suspended particle system, including one or multiple biological reaction zones. The biological reaction zones can be facultative, anaerobic, anoxic, and aerobic and at least one of the biological reaction zones is a suspended particle system. Particles in the suspended particle system act as the carrier of microbiota and offer better conditions for them to grow. The apparatus adopts a box structure, such as a container type, which is convenient to move, flexible to assemble, and can be used multiple times. Based on actual requirements, this apparatus can also be a structure type. The suspended particle system can increase the concentration of microorganisms significantly, improve the ability to bear impact load, produce less sludge, and without sludge expansion.

PARTICLE SETTLING DEVICES
20200269161 · 2020-08-27 · ·

Settling devices for separating particles from a bulk fluid with applications in numerous fields. The particle settling devices include a first stack of cones with a small opening oriented upwardly or downwardly. Optionally, the settling devices may include a second stack of cones with a small opening oriented downwardly or upwardly. The cones may be concave or convex. These devices are useful for separating small (millimeter or micron sized) particles from a bulk fluid with applications in numerous fields, such as biological (microbial, mammalian, plant, insect or algal) cell cultures, solid catalyst particle separation from a liquid or gas and waste water treatment.

SETTLER WITH A SETTLER PLATE THAT INCLUDES A HOLLOW SUPPORT

The present disclosure relates to settler plates for a plate settler. The settler plates generally include a hollow support with a hollow interior to receive clarified liquid from a flow channel between adjacent settler plates. An orifice is formed through the hollow support to direct clarified liquid from the flow channel into the hollow interior. The orifice can be positioned such that clarified liquid can flow upwardly out of the flow channel and downwardly through the orifice into the hollow interior. The hollow support can be integrally formed with the settler plate. For example, the hollow support can be formed by bending a tab extending from an end of the settler plate. The tab can be bent into a hollow support with a cross section that is generally polygonal.

Separation apparatus and use thereof

Separating apparatus, comprising a sedimentation settler and a collection vessel disposed underneath and being in fluid communication with the sedimentation settler, the collection vessel forming a receiving chamber having an outlet at or adjacent to the chamber bottom and having an inlet opening, wherein the collection vessel is arranged such the flow direction of the fluid in the area underneath the sedimentation settler is substantially in line with the direction of the channels of the sedimentation settler.

INLINE SILICON DEPOSITION IN A PICKLING PLANT

A device and a method for depositing undissolved materials, in particular undissolved silicon compounds, from a pickling fluid in a pickling plant. A pickling circuit of the pickling plant has a pickling tank for pickling metal strips, a return line between the pickling tank and a circuit tank, a circulation pump for circulating a main volume flow of pickling fluid from the pickling tank, and a heating device arranged in a pressure line between the circuit tank and the pickling tank. The device includes a flocculation device for introducing at least one flocculant into the main volume flow, and a deposition device in the circuit tank and preferably designed as an inclined clarifying device, for the sedimentation of undissolved materials directly from the main volume flow. When pickling silicon-containing steel strips (electrical steel strips), an at least two-stage flocculation can be carried out using two or more mixing zone containers.

INCLINED SEDIMENTATION ACCELERATION APPARATUS

An inclined sedimentation acceleration apparatus 100 includes an inclined part 10 having a plurality of inclined flow paths 30 through which raw water flows, and side plates 20 disposed on both sides of the inclined part 10. An upper ridge part 15 of the inclined part 10 is disposed at a height different from that of an upper ridge part 21 of the side plate 20. Suspended solids are less likely to accumulate on an upper surface of the inclined sedimentation acceleration apparatus 100.
