Filter cartridge
A filter cartridge for operatively engaging a spool valve manifold having an ejection cam and an insertion cam. The filter cartridge includes a filter element and inlet/outlet portion in fluid communication with the filter element.
Filter device
A filter device may include a filter housing cover defining a chamber and an annular filter element arranged within the receiving chamber. The filter device may further include a housing and at least one intermediate piece arranged between the filter housing cover and the housing when the cover is secured to the housing. An inlet duct may be in communication with an untreated side of the filter element and an outlet duct may be in communication with a clean side of the filter element. A drainage duct may be arranged in the housing for draining the chamber during removal of the cover. A closure device may be arrange in the intermediate piece and have a closure element configured to close the drainage duct.
Filter Housing of an Exchangeable Filter, Filter, Connecting Device, and Filter Device
A filter housing has a housing pot accommodating a filter element. The filter housing has a connecting element connectable by a rotary and/or plug-in connection for connecting the filter with a connecting device. The filter housing has a securing ring forming a cup-shaped attachment section with a circumferential free rim. By rotary and/or plug-in movement, the attachment section is attached to an insertion section of the connecting device. The attachment section is provided with a sealing receptacle of a circumferential sealing device. The sealing receptacle is open in radial inward direction and has a radial sealing surface. The attachment section is connected at the free rim with the circumferential wall of the housing pot by crimping. The securing ring provides a first axial stop surface for an annular seal. A stop ring, inserted into the securing ring, provides a second axial stop surface for the annular seal.
Water Filtration System and Method
A modular water filtration system including a first filter manifold and a second filter manifold is provided. The first filter manifold includes a first bracket and a first pair of arm members horizontally extending from the first bracket. One of the first pair of arm members includes a protrusion defining a bore. The second filter manifold includes a second bracket and a second pair of arm members horizontally extending from the second bracket. One of the second pair of arm members includes a duct, and the duct is configured to receive the protrusion of the first filter manifold to provide fluid communication through the bore between the first filter manifold and the second filter manifold.
Fluid flow controller and filter assembly with fluid flow controller
A filter assembly comprises a housing open at a first end and holding a filter element therein and an end plate secured to the housing and closing the first end and enclosing the filter element within the housing. The plate includes a first inlet opening, a second inlet opening, and an outlet opening. The filter assembly further includes a fluid flow controller disposed between an end of the filter element and the end plate. The flow controller includes a valve including a first portion cooperating with the first inlet opening and a second portion cooperating with the second inlet opening. The fluid flow controller further includes a spring-loaded valve seat in communication with the valve and providing resistance to movement of the first portion of the valve.
Quick oil change filter and assembly
A filtration system includes a filter housing having a cavity and a base, a drain defined in the base, a channel defined in the base and in fluid communication with the drain, and a filter cartridge having a longitudinal axis and being movable between an installed position within the cavity of the filter housing and an uninstalled position outside the cavity of the filter housing. The channel defines an outer diameter. The filter cartridge includes a bottom endplate defining an outer diameter that is greater than the outer diameter of the channel so that, in the installed position, the bottom endplate covers the channel and prevents fluid flow from the cavity to the drain, and a filter media extending axially outwardly from the bottom endplate.
PRESSURE SENSITIVE VALVE ASSEMBLY INCORPORATING ENHANCED RETENTION LEGS AND FLUID FILTER COMPRISING THE SAME
A fluid filter having a filter canister, a fluid inlet, a fluid outlet, filter media, and a pressure sensitive valve assembly is described. The pressure sensitive valve assembly comprises an orifice surround, a pressure relief spring, and a valve plug comprising a valve head and first and second retention legs. The first and second retention legs of the valve plug are spaced apart from one another, extend from a leg base positioned at the sealing side of the valve head to a distal end of the retention leg, and comprise respective seating regions, tapered transition regions, and clearance regions. Each of the respective seating regions comprises a spring engaging hook structurally configured to receive a seating portion of the pressure relief spring. The pressure relief spring is compressed between the orifice surround and the spring engaging hooks to bias the pressure sensitive valve assembly towards the closed state.
FILTER CARTRIDGE
A filter cartridge for operatively engaging a spool valve manifold having an ejection cam and an insertion cam. The filter cartridge includes a filter element and inlet/outlet portion in fluid communication with the filter element.
