Filtration filter and filtration filter device
A filtration filter includes a porous metal film that filters out a filtration object contained in a fluid, and a support base member that is disposed on at least one main surface of the porous metal film and that supports the porous metal film. The support base member has an opening that exposes a part of the porous metal film. An inner peripheral surface of the opening has undulations formed along its periphery.
Filtration media produced using additive manufacturing
A method for manufacturing a filter includes providing a computer-readable three-dimensional model of the filter, the three-dimensional model being configured to be converted into a plurality of slices that each define a cross-sectional layer of the filter, and successively forming each layer of the filter by additive manufacturing.
Filtering panel and method of making the same
The present invention relates to a filtering panel (100) for a disk filter and a disk filter for water purification, comprising a metal filter cloth (16, 116) such as a stainless steel filter cloth, pre-tensioned in both warp and weft directions and fastened to a frame (10, 110) comprising a peripheral portion (11, 111), which is integral with an inner grillwork (12) and which divides the inner area of the peripheral portion (11, 111) into fields (15, 115). The frame (10, 110) comprises a plastic material reinforced with glass fibers or carbon fibres such as polypropylene loaded with fibreglass in an amount of at least 20 weight percent. Each field of the grillwork (12, 112) has an area not exceeding 10% of the inner area of the peripheral portion (11, 111). The pre-tensioning of the filter cloth (16, 116) in both directions is from at least 20% of the yield stress of the cloth (16, 116). Further the present invention relates to a disk filter comprising said filtering panels (100) and method of making said filtering panel (100).
Mesh filter
A mesh filter includes a circular plate-shaped mesh portion having a plurality of openings allowing a fluid to pass, a ring-shaped frame body supporting an outer periphery of the mesh portion, and a button-shaped thick portion positioned on an inner peripheral side of the mesh portion. The frame body includes a gate detachment part at one place in a circumferential direction. The mesh portion includes a plurality of inner ribs and outer ribs symmetrical with respect to an imaginary straight line passing through a center of the gate detachment part and bisecting a planar shape of the frame body. The four inner ribs are formed at regular intervals in a peripheral area of a center axis of the thick portion. The outer ribs extend radially inward from an inner peripheral surface of the frame body and are separately formed on both sides of extended lines of the respective inner ribs.
SUCTION FILTER FOR LIQUIDS
The present invention relates to a suction filter unit (1) for filtering liquids. The filter unit (1) comprises: a housing element (3) with an open first side and an open opposing, second side, the housing element (3) comprising a first set of filter element supporting elements (23); a first cover (5) sealingly connected to the first side of the housing element (3); a second, different cover (7) sealingly connected to the second side of the housing element (3), the second cover (7) comprising a second set of filter element supporting elements (25); a filter unit inlet (9); a filter unit outlet; a first filter element (13) for providing a fine filtering property of the liquid; and a second filter element (21) arranged between the first filter element (13) and the inlet (9) for providing a coarse filtering property of the liquid. The second filter element (21) is clamped between the second cover and the housing element (3) by the first and second set of filter element supporting elements (23, 25).
Injection molded screening apparatuses and methods
Screening members, screening assemblies, methods for fabricating screening members and assemblies and methods for screening materials are provided for vibratory screening machines that incorporate the use of injection molded materials. Use of injection molded screen elements provide, inter alia, for: varying screening surface configurations; fast and relatively simple screen assembly fabrication; and a combination of outstanding screen assembly mechanical and electrical properties, including toughness, wear and chemical resistance. Embodiments of the present invention use a thermoplastic injection molded material.

Filter element with fluted filter media
A filter element has a sheet of filter media having a first elongate edge and a second elongate edge. The sheet of filter media defines a plurality of pleats, a first set of pleat folds and a second set of pleat folds, where each of the plurality of pleats extend between the first set of pleat folds and the second set of pleat folds. The first set of pleat folds each extend from the first elongate edge to the second elongate edge, and the second set of pleat folds each extend from the first elongate edge to the second elongate edge. Each of the plurality of pleats defines a repeating wave pattern of flute peaks and flute valleys alternating from the first set of pleat folds to the second set of pleat folds. Each of the flute peaks and flute valleys extend from the first elongate edge to the second elongate edge.
Nuclear Reactor Fuel Assembly
Fuel assemblies of nuclear reactors that increase the efficiency of the anti-debris filter while maintaining the hydraulic resistance of the fuel assembly at the same level. The nuclear reactor's fuel assembly comprises a head, a fuel elements bundle, spacer grids and an anti-debris filter for the foreign objects retention. The anti-debris filter is installed in the bottom nozzle of a fuel assembly and is made in the form of rectilinear plates' groups, located in the cross section of the bottom nozzle.
FILTER FOR PROTECTING BEARING SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED DRIVE WHEEL END
A drive wheel end includes a hub assembly, an axle, an axle shaft passing through an interior of the axle and rigidly coupled to the hub assembly outside the interior, a bearing system including (i) at least one bearing between the hub assembly and the axle and (ii) a bearing seal between the at least one bearing and an air side of the bearing system, and a filter spanning gap between the axle and at least one of the hub assembly and the axle shaft externally to the axle, to filter flow between the bearing system and the interior.
