SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FILTER ORIENTATION ON A CONTROL VALVE
Systems and methods for filter orientation on a control valve are provided. In particular, systems and methods are provided for rotationally orienting a filter retention feature with respect to an application fluid passageway to control forces and stresses exerted on the filter retention feature. Additionally, methods for manufacturing a control valve are provided that enable a rotational relationship between a filter retention feature and an application fluid passageway to be constrained.
Pressure and Heat Molded Polymer Tube, ect.
A pressure and heat molded polymer tube, formed of miniscule polyethylene beads, each in the vicinity of 115 um powder in diameter, which when compression molded forms pores that are of uniform diameter throughout their length within the range of 5 um-10 um, the tube having an upper flange, that mates within a correspondently shaped grommet, which when applied to the transverse plate of an air filtration housing, functions to cleanse highly efficiently the dust particles and debris from the air being filtered, when passing through the filtration system, so that such purified air can be discharged safely.
Conductive filter element and filter device having a filter element
A filter element (20) includes individual components (2, 4, 8), such as a filter medium (8) as one component and further filter element components (2, 4), of which at least one component (4) is made of a material that is at least partially transparent to laser light and at least one further component (2), in the manner of a barrier layer, is made of a material that is at least partially opaque to laser light to perform a transmission welding method by laser light for connecting associable components to each other. At least some of the components of the filter element that are exposed to the laser light during the transmission welding method are at least partially electrically conductive.
SPIN-ON FILTER WITH EXTERNAL THREADS AND METHODS
A filter arrangement for threadably securing to a filter head includes a housing having a surrounding wall defining an interior volume, an open mouth providing access to the interior volume and an end opposite of the open mouth. The surrounding wall has an exterior and an interior. A filter media construction is operably held within the interior volume. A sleeve, distinct from the housing, is secured to the exterior of the surrounding wall adjacent to the housing mouth and extending partially along the surrounding wall. The sleeve has an exterior and an interior. The exterior of the sleeve defines mounting threads constructed and arranged to removably mount with the filter head, when the filter arrangement is secured to the filter head. The interior of the sleeve is against the exterior of the surrounding wall. A first seal member is oriented against the sleeve to create a seal with a filter head, when the filter arrangement is secured to the filter head. A filter assembly includes a filter arrangement and a filter head. The filter arrangement is removably secured to the filter head by a threaded connection between the sleeve and the filter head. A system includes an engine utilizing a liquid and a filter assembly in fluid communication with the engine to filter the liquid. Methods of making filter arrangements include utilizing structures characterized above.

PUMP FILTER WITH PREDETERMINED SWIRL
A lattice filter for use in an inlet housing of a pump assembly including a lattice filter body extending from a filter inlet end to a filter outlet end. The lattice filter having a lattice structure. The lattice filter also includes one or more passageways within the lattice filter body. Each of the one or more passageways includes a passageway inlet located at the filter inlet end and a passageway outlet located at the filter outlet end. Each of the one or more passageways extend from the passageway inlet to the passageway outlet.
Seal, endcap assembly and filter assembly
An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a seal having an annular body including an upper surface and a lower surface. The annular body also includes an outer side surface and an inner side surface that join the upper surface to the lower surface. The inner side surface contributes to defining an endcap-engaging surface of the seal including: a first endcap surface engaging portion that is sized for engaging a portion of an upper surface of an endcap, a second endcap surface engaging portion that is sized for engaging an outer side surface of the endcap, and a third endcap surface engaging portion that is sized for engaging a lower surface of the endcap. The annular body includes an upper portion connected to a lower portion. The upper portion of the annular body of the seal is defined by a rounded seal portion. The lower portion of the annular body of the seal is defined by a flexible tang portion and a flexible leg portion. The flexible leg portion is connected to and extends away from the rounded seal portion. The flexible tang portion is connected to and extends away from the flexible leg portion. An endcap assembly is also disclosed. A filter assembly is also disclosed.
