Coaxial double filter with integrated filter support
A filter for blood or the like provides for concentric filtration tubes of flexible permeable filtration material held concentrically for flow in parallel through the filtration material of the filtration tubes. Manufacture of the filter may in-mold support rings and pillars to flexible filtration media, the lowermost support rings which may then be assembled together and fit into a filter housing.
Filter Element
A filter element (2) is disclosed which comprises a filtration media (4) and an end fitting (6) through which a sealing connection is made between the filter element and a housing (100) so that, when the sealing connection is made, the end fitting defines in part a flow path for fluid between the housing and the filter element. The end fitting includes an annular seal (36) made from a compressible material which extends around the periphery of the filter element, and a support (30, 31, 32, 34) for the annular seal which can be expanded outwardly to cause the transverse dimension of the seal to increase so that the seal is urged into contact with an inner wall of a housing (100) in which the filter element is located.
Pool cleaning robot having a filtering unit and a sensor
A pool cleaning robot that may include a filtering unit for filtering fluid that passes through the filtering unit; a calorimetric sensor for sensing a cleanliness related parameter of the filtering unit while the pool cleaning robot is submerged in the fluid; and a controller that is configured to at least assist in determining, based on the cleanliness related parameter of the filtering unit, a cleanliness of the filtering unit.
Integrated oxygen removal unit and fuel filter
A system for use in a gas turbine engine fuel supply has an internal fuel filter having an internal bore and an external surface. A chamber within the internal bore of the fuel filter for receives a fuel and allows fuel to pass radially outwardly across the fuel filter. An oxygen removal unit is outwardly of the external surface of the fuel filter, such that fuel passes through the fuel filter, encounters the oxygen removal unit such that oxygen can be removed from the fuel, an outlet port for removed oxygen, and a separate outlet port for fuel having passed over the fuel filter and the oxygen removal unit.
FILTER DEVICE AND FILTRATION DEVICE
A filter element having a substantially cylindrical shape is provided inside a filter case that is provided with a plurality of opening portions in a side surface and has a bottomed substantially cylindrical shape. A fluid flows into a hollow portion of the filter element from an inflow portion provided between a bottom surface of the filter case and the filter element in a height direction. Further, an inner tube provided inside a filtration material having a substantially cylindrical shape includes a first region that is formed with an opening portion substantially on the entire surface and a second region that is not formed with an opening portion. The second region is provided below the first region to include a lower end of the inner tube.
Strainer
A strainer is provided in an interior of an injection pipe serving as an injection opening through which a liquid containing a reducing agent is injected into a tank body. In the strainer, a front end portion, having a substantially triangular or substantially trapezoidal shape when a cross section is taken along a plane including an axis of a strainer body having a substantially cylindrical shape, is formed integrally with a front end of the strainer body.
High pressure sand trap with screen
There is provided a method of desanding a production flow with at least liquid and solid phases. An inlet is connected to a flow line of a sand trap body having a first filter housing defining a first bore and a plurality of second filter housings defining second bores each connected to the first filter housing at spaced intervals transverse to and in fluid communication with the first bore. The flow path between the stand trap inlet and outlet is defined by the first and second housings. A primary filter is inserted into each of the second bores, the production flow is flowed through the sand trap body such that the production flow is filtered by the primary filters, and then a secondary filter is inserted into the first bore. The mesh size of the primary filters is finer than or equal to the mesh size of the secondary filter.
Sealing systems and methods for a filtration system
A filter assembly includes a filter housing, a filter housing lid, a filter cartridge, an endplate, and a seal member. The filter housing defines a first cavity and comprises a return passage in fluid communication with the first cavity. The filter housing lid is selectively coupled to the filter housing and defines a second cavity coextensive with the first cavity. The filter cartridge is positioned within the first cavity. The endplate is coupled to a first end of the filter cartridge. The endplate is configured to interface with the filter housing. The seal member is coupled to the endplate and is configured to be received in the return passage. The endplate is configured to partially separate the filter housing from the filter cartridge.
Solid removal in glycol reclamation
A solids removal apparatus for glycol reclamation includes a first tubular, a second tubular, and a strainer. The first tubular includes an open end configured to receive a brine stream including solid material. The second tubular is connected to and protrudes from the first tubular. The second tubular is configured to discharge an outlet stream. The strainer is disposed within the second tubular. The strainer is configured to prevent at least a portion of the solid material from flowing through the strainer, such that the outlet stream discharging from the second tubular has a solids content that is less than a solids content of the brine stream.
Filter and filtering arrangement
A filter for filtering pyrolysis oil and an arrangement. The filter is a split-flow filter (1, 1a, 1b), comprising a filter element (12), comprising plurality of apertures (17) extending through the filter element (12), a receiving channel (13) for receiving a flow (F) of pyrolysis oil to be filtered and for supplying said flow on first side (A) of the filter element (12), a main discharge channel (14) arranged on the first side (A) of the filter element (12) for discharging the portion of the flow (F) of pyrolysis oil having not penetrated through the filter element (12), and a filtrate channel (15) arranged on second side (B) of the filter element (12) for discharging the portion of the flow (F) of pyrolysis oil having penetrated through the filter element (12).
