AIR BURST SYSTEM FOR CLEANING SUBMERGED SCREEN INTAKE
Systems and related methods for purging air burst supply piping of accumulated water prior to delivering pulses of pressurized air to an interior of a screen intake through the air burst supply piping. The systems and methods can include a purge compressor delivering a purging air supply at a head pressure slightly above a head pressure of water in the air burst supply piping, wherein the head pressure of the water is equivalent to a depth at which the intake screen. The system and methods can also include a purge line arranged in a parallel orientation to an air burst supply line, wherein both the purge line and the air burst supply line are operably coupled to a pressurized air tank.
LIQUID SOLID SEPARATOR WASH WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM
A liquid solid separator has a main container wherein a rotating filter belt receives influent for liquid sold mixture sieve processing. A filtered water collections tank, a pressurized water supply are sources of wash water inputs. Cold and hot water pressurized water supplies are also potential supply sources. Load balancing of inputs and single and dual wash water pumps are also described.

FLUID FILTERING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A rotary fluid filter including a filter body rotationally mounted within a housing. The housing having a front cap having a main fluid inlet and a backwash outlet, a rear cap having a main fluid outlet and a backwash inlet. The filter body having a front face, a rear face, and a plurality of fluid flow passages each extending through the filter body between the front face and the rear face and having a filter received in each fluid flow passage. The filter body operable to rotate with in the housing such that, for each fluid flow passage, as it is aligned with the main fluid inlet a main fluid is received therein, as it is aligned with the main fluid outlet the main fluid is discharged therefrom, and as it is aligned with the backwash inlet and the backwash outlet a backwash fluid is received therethrough.
FLUID CLEANING APPARATUS
A fluid cleaning apparatus including: a first volume comprising a first inlet through which a first fluid is introduced and a first outlet through which the first fluid is discharged; a second volume comprising a second inlet through which a second fluid is introduced and a second outlet through which the second fluid is discharged; and a rotating wheel which is provided with a filter for filtering the first fluid, and rotatably positioned within the first volume and the second volume in a direction perpendicular to a flow direction of the first fluid or the second fluid, wherein foreign matter filtered while the first fluid passes through the filter in the first volume is discharged through the second outlet while the second fluid passes through the filter in the second volume, as the rotating wheel rotates.
SEPARATOR FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT WITH MOVABLE STRAINER ELEMENT
A separator device for separating fibrous material from wastewater has a housing comprising at least one inlet for wastewater, at least one first outlet for filtrate, at least one second outlet for the fibrous material, and least one hollow strainer element disposed in the housing, the inlet opening into the interior of the strainer element and the first outlet being disposed in an intermediate space between the housing and the strainer element. At least one strainer element of the separator device is movably disposed in the housing and coupled to a drive for displacing the strainer element. The invention further relates to a method for separating fibrous material from wastewater.
