The lower portion may include an opening configured to snuggly receive a user's finger and/or a top of a medication bottle. The eye drop applicator may also include a removable cap configured to attach to the upper portion of the main body to cover the cavity.
Contact lens mounting speculum for vitreoretinal surgery
A contact lens is placed on a patient's eye during ophthalmic surgery, such as vitreoretinal surgery. The contact lens rests on a cornea of an eye of a patient during the surgery and is supported by a contact lens mounting speculum having multiple degrees of freedom to accommodate small movements of the eye while enabling alignment to an optical axis of the surgical microscope. The contact lens mounting speculum may be used with different patients, speculum blades, contact lenses (direct and indirect), and lens mounting positions.
CONTACT LENS PACKAGING
A contact lens applicator film (45) for picking up a contact lens (11) and applying the contact lens to an eye comprising: a sterilised film (45) wherein at least a portion of at least one side of the film comprises an adhesive coating that is arranged for adhering to the surface of a finger such that, in use, when applying the contact lens to the eye a user can pick up the contact lens applicator film with the finger and subsequently pick up the contact lens using the finger protected by the contact lens applicator film.
Intraocular lens injection system and controller for controlling intraocular lens injection device
An intraocular lens injection system, a controller to control an intraocular lens injection device, a method for controlling an intraocular lens injection instrument, and a program therefor for preferably injecting an intraocular lens are provided. A push-out member including a drive part to push out a soft intraocular lens by the drive part, an observation member to obtain an observed image of the intraocular lens pushed out by the push-out member, and a determination member to determine a drive parameter of the drive part based on the observed image are provided. The intraocular lens includes an optical part and a support part to support the optical part in a patient's eye, and the determination member determines the drive parameter according to at least a shape of the support part.
Lens AID and lens AID system and techniques for the insertion and removal of contact and scleral lenses
A lens aid, lens aid system, powered light source, and cleaning and storage compartment for the lens aid system that uses a lens cup of soft pliable material providing an improved visual method including a hands-free or one hand method for the insertion of a contact lens and more preferably a scleral lens into the eye.
CONTACT LENS INSERTION ASSISTING ASSEMBLY
A contact lens insertion assisting assembly includes an applicator comprising a tube that has a top end and a bottom end. The top end is concavely shaped and this shape allows the top end to receive a contact lens. A central portion of the top end has a well therein extending downwardly toward the bottom end.
Contact lens dispensing container
A contact lens dispensing container includes an upwardly opening receptacle, peelable cover sheet, and applicator. The receptacle is to receive a contact lens and storage solution, and the container having a peripheral flange providing a planar engagement surface surrounding the receptacle. The cover sheet is securable to the engagement surface to seal the container and peelable from the engagement surface to allow lens removal. The applicator includes a handle having first end and second end. The handle is pivotably mounted on the flange and having a carrier at the first end and a hand grip at the second end. The applicator is moveable between stowed position and deployed position, wherein in stowed position the carrier is received in the receptacle with the handle not extending above the engagement surface, and in deployed position the applicator is rotated from the stowed position so that the carrier is above the engagement surface.
CONTACT LENS INSERTION SYSTEM
A contact lens application aid including a lens holder dock having an elongated supporting member having a base end and a coupling end. The coupling end is structured and dimensioned to receive a lens holder. The lens holder dock includes a transparent material or a translucent material and is configured to illuminate the coupling end. A supporting base is configured to rest on a flat surface and receive, at a central portion of the supporting base, the base end of the lens holder dock via a friction fit. The supporting base extends outwardly from the central region such that a diameter of the supporting base is greater than a diameter of the lens holder dock.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTACT LENS INSERTION AND REMOVAL
A system may include a contact lens, a positioning member for positioning the contact lens, and a bead of adhesive material adhering the contact lens to the positioning member.
LENS AID AND LENS AID SYSTEM AND TECHNIQUES FOR THE INSERTION AND REMOVAL OF CONTACT AND SCLERAL LENSES
A lens aid, lens aid system and powered light source that uses a lens cup of soft pliable material providing an improved visual method including a hands-free or one hand method for the insertion of a contact lens and more preferably a scleral lens into the eye.
