Self-cleaning screen

Various implementations include a self-cleaning screen device including a screen and auger. The screen is a hollow cylinder and has a screen central axis, a screen inner surface, a screen outer surface opposite and radially spaced apart from the screen inner surface, a screen first end, and a screen second end opposite and axially spaced apart from the screen first end. The screen outer surface defines a plurality of openings extending radially to the screen inner surface. The auger is helically shaped and has an auger central axis, an auger first end, and an auger second end opposite and axially spaced apart from the auger first end. The auger is disposed around at least a portion of the screen outer surface such that the auger central axis and the screen central axis are coincident with each other. The auger is rotatable about the auger central axis relative to the screen.

FILTER DEVICE

A filter device having a filter housing (14), in which a replaceable filter element (18) is accommodated, and having a filter head (26) for securing the filter housing (14) to a third component, such as a tank wall (10) of a storage tank, is characterized in that the filter housing (14) is mounted on the filter head (26) in an articulated manner by means of a bearing (28) providing more than one degree of freedom.

Device for filtering liquid drawn in between two superimposed layers of filtering media
11471799 · 2022-10-18 · ·

Disclosed is a filtration device for a liquid, including: at least two superimposed layers of filter media having weld lines creating strips between them, the layers of filter media having weld lines being superimposed such that the weld lines of one layer form, with the weld lines of the other layer, a mesh structure when viewed at an angle normal to the layers of filter media; a first external face and a second external face each being produced at least locally from a water-permeable material, the layers of filter media being positioned between the external faces; and an intake connector used for drawing liquid in through the filtration device.

FILTER ARRANGEMENT FOR A SELECTIVE CATALYTIC REDUCTION SYSTEM

The present disclosure is directed towards a filter arrangement for a reductant supply system of a selective catalytic reduction system. The reductant supply system comprises a tank and a suction tube mounted at least partially in the tank for receiving reductant liquid from the tank. The filter arrangement comprises a restraining body, a filter at least partially forming a filter chamber, a filter outlet from the filter chamber formed through the restraining body and/or filter and a filter mount mounted to the restraining body and/or filter. The restraining body extends radially outwardly from the filter mount and is configured to restrain the filter such that, under the effect of buoyancy in the tank in use, gas in the filter chamber is directed towards the filter outlet.

Apparatus and method for filtering cryogenic fluid

An improved filter apparatus for a cryogenic fluid includes a filter and a support. The filter includes a mesh having an internal space and an open end. The support is associated with the mesh for maintaining a volume of the internal space above a predetermined value. In operation cryogenic fluid enters the internal space through the mesh and exits the open end thereof.
