SURGICAL EYE SHIELD
An eye shield for releasable mounting to a face of a patient, used to inhibit direct pressure being applied to an eye or eyes of the patient during a medical procedure. The eye shield includes a resiliently deformable base having at least one aperture extending therethrough that corresponds to the position of an eye or eyes of the patient, and a curved, flexible, transparent cover plate attached to an upper surface of the base and extending over the at least one aperture. The cover plate includes first and second eye cover portions joined by an integral hinge member therebetween. The eye shield is attached to the face around the orbital rims of the respective eyes and the first and second eye cover portions are configured to pivot relative to each other around the hinge member and flex along their respective spans to generally conform to the shape of the face.
Tear-Off Lens Capture
A tear-off capture system includes an eye protector with a base lens. The eye protector has a retention mechanism mounted on one side, and a support mechanism that supports the eye protector on the head of a wearer. A two-tabbed stack of laminated tear-off lenses mounts to the eye protector via an adhesive. The stack mounts so that the first tab of the stack aligns with the first side of the eye protector and the second tab engages with the retention mechanism. Via the second tab and the retention mechanism, released tear-off layers are directed toward the second side of the eye protector away from the base lens. A capturer helps hold the initially released tear-off layer to the eye protector. An exposed tacky surface on each released tear-off helps hold the subsequently removed tear-off layers.
SKI GOGGLES WITH DETACHABLE LENS
A ski goggles with detachable lens comprises a frame constituted by a lens bedding part (1) for receiving lens (3) and being attached to a soft polymer frame part (2), so as to work as one piece. A lens panel is defined and laminated between the outer lens and the inner lens. Magnets are provided in the lens bedding (1) for automatic and correct location of the lens (3). A tab (4) with polymer spring is provided centrally on the lens panel, which is received by a locking lever (5) located on the lens bedding part (1) for locking the lens. The magnets are adapted to locate the lens (3) on the lens bedding part (1) such that when the locking lever (5) is released, the lens protrude out of the frame keeping a reasonable gap from the frame.
Novel Protective Visor
The disclosure provides a protective visor applicable to multiple operation environments for dust prevention, anti-shock glasses, chemical defence and ray radiation protection. The protective visor comprises a headband (5), a face shield (1), protective goggles (6), a light shading screen (4), a light grid (8) and a housing (2), which are connected to each other. The light shading screen (4) and the light grid (8) constitute a light refraction and transmission device for refracting and transmitting the light, which includes a light aperture processed to have a curved surface and located at the front and upper end portion of the housing (2). The light aperture has a serrated lattice shutter structure, and the light shading screen (4) is disposed at the outer side of the light aperture. The protective visor can effectively prevent foreign splash, and absorb radiant heat and certain ultraviolet rays to protect an operator's face.
SWIMMING GOGGLE CUSHION PAD
A swimming goggle cushion pad is connected to a frame of swimming goggles, wherein the cushion pad comprises a base, a face contact portion mounted on a side of the base and a lens frame disposed on another side of the base in opposite to the face contact portion, the lens frame being defined with an inner peripheral face and an outer peripheral face with a circumferential fitting groove arranged between the inner peripheral face and the outer peripheral face to hold a lens therein, characterized in that: the side of the base mounted with the face contact portion slightly bends inward along an outer peripheral contour of the base to form a cap shape, and the face contact portion comprises two arc surfaces of attachment to a wearer's face so as to provide complete coverage on the eye socket, regardless of various sizes of the wearer's face.
FACE SHIELD APPARATUS
A pair of opposed locking clasps couples a temple of a frame to a top bar of the frame. The pair of opposed locking clasps are comprised of a first locking clasp, a second locking clasp, and a hinge. The first locking clasp is comprised of a first base, a nub disposed proximate to a first end of the first base, and a protrusion disposed proximate to a second end of the first base. The second locking clasp is comprised of a second body and an indent that substantially corresponds to a shape of the protrusion, the protrusion being disposed in the indent to lock the first locking clasp to the second locking clasp. The hinge couples the first locking clasp to the second locking clasp.
Interposed goggle frame snap assembly
A pair of goggles with a lens assembly, a goggle frame, and at least one lens retention shelf is disclosed. The lens assembly includes a lens with a projection extending from the assembly. The goggle frame is made of a first material and has a frame aperture sized large enough to receive the projection from the lens assembly through it. The lens retention shelf is made of a second material harder than the first material and is disposed behind the frame. The first lens retention shelf includes a projection connector corresponding to the projection, the projection connector is aligned with the frame aperture and sized to receive and engage the projection with the goggle frame interposed between the lens retention shelf and the lens.
SWIM GOGGLE
A goggle with a soft head strap having a circular cupping or open bucket portion is attached a goggle frame with one or more lenses through an attachment mechanism. The attachment mechanism includes brackets attached to strap ends and having matched apertures that press or snap onto raised clip structures on side portions of the goggle frame.
Luminant safety eyewear
A luminant safety eyewear device with improved lighting may feature a central light source with color changing lenses. The lenses may be manually or electromagnetically manipulated into position. Three lenses may be provided to change color emitted from white, to red, to green and/or blue. Alternately, multiple light sources or a color-changing light source may be utilized either with or without multiple lenses.
Eyewear with headgear retention devices
Eyewear configured to retain a hat on a wearer's head is described herein. In one aspect, eyewear includes spectacles configured to be worn over eyes of a wearer. The eyewear also includes an elastic headband configured to fit around a head of the wearer. The elastic headband is attached to the spectacles. The eyewear includes two or more headgear retention devices attached to the headband and configured to be removably attached to a hat when the hat is worn on the head of the wearer and the headband is worn around the head of the wearer.
