Hydrophobic filter for filtering an airflow or another gaseous flow in a medical application
A hydrophobic filter for filtering an airflow or another gaseous flow in a medical application has a housing encompassing a filter chamber, an inlet port arranged on the housing and forming an inlet opening, an outlet port arranged on the housing and forming an outlet opening, and a hydrophobic structure extending along a plane of extension and separating the filter chamber into an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber. The inlet opening opens into the inlet chamber and the outlet opening opens into the outlet chamber. Herein, the outlet opening opens into the outlet chamber at a first location when viewed along the plane of extension and the inlet opening opens into the inlet chamber at a second location different from the first location when viewed along the plane of extension.
Cigarette smoke-filtering device
The cigarette smoke-filtering device includes a bottom dome that includes at least one inlet port thereon. The at least one inlet port of the bottom dome is adapted to receive a lit cigarette thereon. The bottom dome is attachable to a top dome. The bottom dome and the top dome form an interior cavity that supports a carbon filter and a smoke chamber. The carbon filter is responsible for filtering cigarette smoke delivered from the lit cigarette via the at least one inlet port. The bottom dome includes an outlet that is affixed to a hose that extends there from. The hose is in turn attached to a mouthpiece.
Filter with preferential air flow
A filter element may include a primary layer of filter media defining a chamber having an open end and a closed end distally opposite the open end, and at least one secondary layer of filter media adjacently fixed to the primary layer of filter media. The at least one secondary layer of filter media may be located at the closed end of the primary layer of filter media for increasing a pressure drop at the closed end, such that fluid flow is homogeneously distributed through the chamber in response to the pressure drop. The primary layer of filter media is formed of a non-compressible material and may be tapered to further controlling pressure drops through the chamber. A pocket filter assembly may include one or more filter elements disposed within a housing.
Exhaust gas purification device
An exhaust gas purification device having such a structure that exhaust gas can uniformly flow into without depending on a shape of an exhaust gas inlet pipe. A gas purification body which purifies the exhaust gas, a purification casing which accommodates the gas purification body, an exhaust gas inlet pipe which communicates with an exhaust gas inflow port of the purification casing, and an exhaust gas outlet pipe which communicates with an exhaust gas outflow port of the purification casing. The exhaust gas inlet pipe is attached to the purification casing in such a manner as to cover the exhaust gas inflow port and extend in a longitudinal direction of the purification casing. An introduction passage of the exhaust gas is formed by an outside surface of the purification casing and an inside surface of a pipe wall of the exhaust gas inlet pipe. A portion extending along the purification casing in the pipe wall is inclined so as to come close to the outside surface of the purification casing in proportion to heading for an exhaust gas outlet side from an exhaust gas inlet side.
Filter mounts for a portable fan and methods for mounting a filter to a portable fan
A filter frame is removably attachable to a box fan. The filter frame is adapted for receiving a standard HVAC-style filter for removing contaminants from air flow induced by the fan. In this manner, a cost-effective means for filtering a flow of air is provided for residential and commercial settings. The filter frame is adaptable to a variety of standard box fan types of different styles and dimensions. The frame is configured to accommodate standard filters, such as those readily available from retail hardware stores and home centers.
GAS FILTER HOUSING WITH REPLACEABLE GAS FILTER MEDIA FOR MEDICAL VENTILATION SYSTEMS
A medical breathing gas filter housing includes a first housing body including a first port, and a second housing body including a second port. The gas filter housing is configurable between a closed state and an open state. In the closed state, the first housing body is snap fit to the second housing body such that first and second interior sides of the first and second housing bodies, respectively, define a cavity, the cavity sized to receive a replaceable gas filter media. In the open state, the first housing body is separated from the second housing body to provide access to the cavity.
IN-LINE DUCT FILTER
An in-line filter rack includes a chamber for housing at least one filter, an inlet opening providing access to the chamber and configured to be coupled to an upstream portion of a return air duct, and an outlet opening providing access to the chamber and configured to be coupled to a downstream portion of the return air duct.
HAND-HELD OXYGEN GENERATOR AND AIR PURIFIER
Presented is a portable hand held e-cigarette shaped oxygen generator and air purifier. The device includes a suction body through which atmospheric air is forcibly introduced within a main body of the device during respiration, a solid oxygen filter adapted for holding solid oxygen, and a solid oxygen filter support having a dual cylindrical structure for housing and supporting the solid oxygen filter. The device further includes a solid oxygen filter support lid mountable over the solid oxygen filter support and is adapted for discharging device generated inhalable oxygen from the main body to a micro filter, a casing embodying the micro filter and operationally connected to a mouthpiece having an extension for mounting a straw. The atmospheric air introduced in the device reacts with the solid oxygen to generate inhalable oxygen after passing the atmospheric air through the dual cylindrical structure of the solid oxygen filter support.
In-line vacuum filter
An in-line vacuum filter comprises a manifold having an inlet, an outlet, a collecting container, and an actuatable filter paddle. A flow of air generated by a source of negative pressure travels from the inlet to the outlet. The actuatable filter paddle is positioned within the manifold such that it can be actuated between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the actuatable filter paddle is placed within the flow of air and in the second position, the actuatable filter paddle is removed from the flow of air. The filter paddle is preferably arcuate concave and comprises a plurality of apertures. In the first position, the filter paddle gradually diverts objects larger than a width of the apertures away from the flow of air. Diverted objects may travel to a removable collection container.
DEVICE FOR PROMOTING WOUND HEALING BY HIGH POLYMER LOW TEMPERATURE IONIZED GAS
A device has a power source having a high voltage terminal and a low voltage terminal, an oil-free gas compressor, a first molecular sieve, multiple ionized gas generators, an outer metal pipe, an inner metal pipe, a dielectric insulating ceramic sheet, and a gas outlet pipe. The first molecular sieve is connected between the oil-free gas compressor and the ionized gas generators, and is capable of filtering out molecules in the gas except for oxygen. The outer metal pipe and the inner metal pipe are electrically connected to the low voltage terminal and the high voltage terminal respectively. The dielectric insulating ceramic sheet is mounted between the outer metal pipe and the inner metal pipe, and forms an ionizing space, which communicates with the ionizing space, with the outer metal pipe.
