20220145508 · 2022-05-12 ·

The airflow exhaust system for a combination washer/dryer includes an exit duct portion to couple with an exit from a tub. A lint screen box portion is associated with the exit duct. A transition duct portion is associated with the lint screen box portion. A fan is associated with the transition duct. The fan includes an outlet to couple with an exhaust tube. A mounting assembly stationarily fastens the airflow exhaust system within a housing of the combination washer/dryer machine.

Linear compressor

A linear compressor includes a compressor body configured to compress a refrigerant. The compressor body includes a cylinder, a discharge valve, a groove, a gas hole, and a flow restrictor. The cylinder receives a piston. The discharge valve is configured to open and close one side of the cylinder and define a compression space for the refrigerant together with the piston. The groove is defined in an outer circumferential surface of the cylinder and into which at least a portion of the refrigerant discharged through the discharge valve is introduced. The gas hole is defined in the groove to pass through the cylinder. The flow restrictor includes twisting wires made of different materials and is disposed to be wound around the groove.

Air filter precleaner

An apparatus and methods are provided for an air filter precleaner for an open air filter box. The air filter precleaner includes a filter medium between a base and a grating that are fastened over an opening into an interior of the air filter box. The filter medium comprises a sheet of filter material having a shape and a size suitable for being supported between the base and the grating. The base is a rigid member that supports the filter medium in a sheet configuration, such that the airstream passes through the filter medium before entering the air filter box. The grating is a rigid member comprising a screen portion surrounded by a frame that is configured to be fastened onto the air filter box. The screen portion comprises a shaped lattice that allows the airstream to pass through the filter medium before entering the air filter box.

HYDROPHOBIC FILTER FOR FILTERING AN AIRFLOW OR ANOTHER GASEOUS FLOW IN A MEDICAL APPLICATION

A hydrophobic filter for filtering an airflow or another gaseous flow in a medical application comprises a housing encompassing a filter chamber, an inlet port arranged on the housing and forming an inlet opening, an outlet port arranged on the housing and forming an outlet opening, and a hydrophobic structure extending along a plane of extension and separating the filter chamber into an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber. The inlet opening opens into the inlet chamber and the outlet opening opens into the outlet chamber. Herein, the outlet opening opens into the outlet chamber at a first location when viewed along the plane of extension and the inlet opening opens into the inlet chamber at a second location different from the first location when viewed along the plane of extension.

SEALED INTAKE AIR SYSTEM

A sealed intake air system incorporates a positive connection seal interface between the air filter and the airbox with captive fasteners to provide a positive connection between the air filter and the one-piece airbox.

Filtering apparatus comprising an integrated flow reducer, and method for completely imbibing a filter membrane

A filtration device, in particular a disposable filtration device, has a flow path in which a filter element and an integrated flow reducer are arranged one behind the other. The flow reducer is adapted to be brought to a first operating position, which permits a defined first volume flow rate, and at least to a second operating position, which permits a defined second volume flow rate which is smaller than the first volume flow rate.

Sealed intake air system

A sealed intake air system incorporates a positive connection seal interface between the air filter and the airbox with captive fasteners to provide a positive connection between the air filter and the one-piece airbox.

Filter connection for a smoke evacuation device

A filter connection for a smoke evacuation device includes a filter canister assembly and a socket. The filter canister assembly has a cross-sectional shape with only one line of symmetry that corresponds to a cross-sectional shape of the socket so that the filter canister can only be inserted into the socket in one orientation. One or more key notches on the filter canister may also ensure that the filter is properly installed. A seal creates an airtight boundary between the filter canister and a recess of the socket so that a sealed path in communication with the smoke evacuation device is established before the filter canister is fully inserted into the socket. An electronic connection is made between the filter canister and the socket after the airtight boundary is created.

SELF-EXCITED WET GAS FLOW MEASURING DEVICE

A self-excited wet gas flow measuring device, including a housing (1), the housing (1) is provided with a wet gas inlet (21), a dry gas outlet (23) and a liquid outlet (25); the middle of the housing (1) is mounted with a mist catching filter screen to divide a hollow cavity inside the housing (1) into a dry gas region (33) and a wet gas region (34); the wet gas inlet (21) and the liquid outlet (25) are both disposed in the wet gas region (34), and the dry gas outlet (23) is disposed in the dry gas region (33); a gas flowmeter (41) for metering the transmitted dry gas is provided at the dry gas outlet (23), a control device (51) is provided within the wet gas region (34), and a detection counting device (52) is provided at the liquid outlet (25).

SELF-CONTAINED NEGATIVE PRESSURE ENVIRONMENT DEVICE AND SYSTEM

A system configured to create a self-contained negative pressure environment (SCONE) to remove airborne particulates emitted from a patient. The system prevents exposure to pathogenic biological airborne particulates during triage, transportation, and treatment, including aerosol generating procedures (AGPs) and end of life care. This system is directed to a collapsible device having a flexible cover covering two support members, with openings in the flexible cover such that medical professionals can reach in and operate within. The present invention is further adaptable to patients and operating environments of various sizes.
